She feels safe enough to “come out of the woods,” exactly the time for a Trump administration special prosecutor to launch a broadside.

Mentally strong people don’t need five months to overcome setbacks. Thomas Edison famously said: “I have not failed 10,000 times. … I have succeeded in proving that those 10,000 ways will not work.” Instead of dwelling on setbacks, true leaders are resilient and persistent. Their passion for their mission—or goal—is independent of external circumstances.

Hillary says she’s been licking her wounds in the woods since November. Why can’t she pull herself together?

Talk of her going to jail is for the rubes at election time. Our side is fed the fantasy that she's going to jail if our side wins. The democrats are fed the nightmare that she will go to jail if their side loses.

Well, perhaps it's because that whole "lock her up" schtick was just that, a schtick to get votes. The Clintons and Trumps were always close pals. In New York, that's how things work. That's why most of the ambitious people who don't want any part of it leave.

Yup the only way a club member goes to jail is if the DC establishment hands a case over to the criminal courts and that doesn't happen often. Instead they spend years and millions investigating without ever reaching a conclusion.  Both sides use the threat for their own purposes.

Trump telegraphed months ago that it was over when he was attacking Trey Gowdy for having "let her get away with it".
