Here Are the Six People You Meet at a Women’s Strike
Posted By Rae-Lynn Raup Ziegler On March 8, 2017 @ 2:54 pm In Issues | No Comments

Wednesday was International Women's Day, and with that came a theme: The Day Without a Woman.

The strike, created by the organizers of the Women's March on Washington in January, called for women across the country to not engage in any work to show the economic and social power they have–and what could happen if they decide not to show up to work or help out at home.

Men and women came to Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. shouting and protesting for their "freedom" and equal rights.

The Washington Free Beacon interviewed six people at the event, who explained why they chose to join the strike.

I noticed a common thread through all of those dopes. Non of them were gainfully employed.

They were also all mentally unbalanced.

I took a peek at an SJW site I keep an eye on yesterday, and they were talking about this. About half the comments were along the lines of "I'm unemployed, so not going to work was easy."  Kind of sad.

One thing I did find funny was that the disorganizers obviously hadn't thought things through. Seemed a simple enough idea: don't go to work or do housework, wear red, don't shop. They sort of forgot to figure that cooking is housework and many of the protestors aren't organized enough to prepare their food in advance. Hence many of the ones who were talking wound up going out to eat - I assume at restaurants staffed solely by men, but they didn't say.

The wife and I ate out Wednesday at a Texas Roadhouse. There was no shortage of young, female workers.  And they were all pleasant and professional.

I went to work, wearing a pink (not red) jacket, then shopped at the grocery store and (the horror!) made my husband dinner. Women's day, baby!  :silly:

I was unaware of the importance of the day and went to work wearing several shades of gray.  Sort of inadvertently the anti-red.

To be of the left, is to be unaware of irony:

Quote
"Stop the gag rule." He added, "The extreme rhetorical [sic] is going to continue to kill millions of people including women, immigrants, as we see in communities."
