It Turns Out Americans Really Do Hate Democrats

February 27, 2017| by Brian Anderson

The Democrats point to pockets of juvenile and destructive “resistance” across the country as proof that the American people oppose President Trump and all Republicans, but like everything else liberals say it’s pure bullshit. You need only look at the fact that the GOP controls the White House, both chambers of Congress, and most state legislatures and governorships to know how America feels, but a new NBC polls spells it out in simple terms that even lefties can understand: America hates democrats!

The most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that Donald Trump has a 44% job approval rating. Democrats have seized on this number as well to show that the country supports a whacko leftist ideology, but they are of course ignoring the rest of the poll.

It appears that the feeling is mutual.
If all I want is a warm feeling, I should just wet my pants.

Hate is a very strong word and a very strong emotion.  I don't hate Democrats, I just don't like what they stand for.  It's very difficult to ignore their ignorance and at times sheer stupidity and I find their liberal mental midget logic frustrating.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Conservatives have to remember that many rank and file Dems are not necessarily liberals.  Certainly, many union people I've known are just as socially conservative as many Republican conservatives.  Moreover, they agree with Republicans on many national issues like immigration.
But they don't run their party anymore.
As we all know the Dem Party has been taken over by radical leftists. They crack the whip and tell the rabble where to stand on the issues and who to vote for.  And the party faithful meekly submit.  They still think they're party of goodness and niceness and Republicans are greedy b*stards who don't want to share the wealth.  Their thinking about and knowledge of conservatism doesn't go much beyond that.
It's almost impossible to engage a liberal on various talk forums without them descending into name-calling and derision no matter what the subject.

That's where you need to talk to those Dems in non-party terms.  Talk to them about conservative/libertarian values and principles, get them to agree with you (as they do on many of those principles at least) on them and then start talking about how to put those principles into action.  It won't be instantaneous, but loosening the grip of the party on them and getting them to make their own decisions on who and what to support is what we need to do in the long term.  If we can get them to leave the party and go independent, that's a win too.
My political philosophy:

2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

Many are too pig-headed to change. I have stepdaughters who are hardcore libs and pigheaded.  For one thing, if I want to keep seeing my grandchildren I will not engage in arguments with them.
I used to be what was considered a liberal many decades ago. I came out of a Dem family and supported them for many years. It's like your team.
But as I got into my thirties I started questioning many Dem actions.  I didn't think Reagan did that bad of a job. I liked his anti-communism, and I liked his Star Wars program. I couldn't understand why Dems would be against getting people off welfare, and what was wrong with having a strong military?
So when I changed parties during the Clinton admin many friends and family members were shocked. How could I dare vote for Republicans? Didn't I know they were all greedy b*stards who were only out for themselves?
I'd had enough of Dem policies by that time, and Slick Willy was not even a big time leftist....just basically a horny opportunist on the make.
I found out that people basically have to make the decision on their own. Getting into arguments and trying to convince them of this and that bad policy by leftist Dems won't work.
I like to get on neutral forums and challenge liberals on their actions knowing that many will refuse to reconsider anything they believe. But if you put out enough facts, some neutrals might eventually see the light.
One thing I believe is libs cannot be allowed to go unchallenged on neutral forums.

But see, those aren't the people I'm talking about.  Hardcore leftists have adopted leftism as their religion.  You can't reach them with reason.

The people I'm talking about are the reflexive Democrats, who have always voted that way and continue to do so as a sort of conditioned response.  They usually share beliefs generally with us, but when they vote they don't think beyond "R" and "D," and those labels mean "bad" and "good" to them.  You have to talk to them about values and principles, not about politics.  When you agree on those, you can start to steer the conversation toward being true to those values and principles in the selection of public servants...

That's why I get on neutral forums like big city CBS News forums.  It's fun to needle libs and leftists. But I try to avoid name-calling and go for exposing lib/leftist idiocies. Hopefully, enough non-hardcore Dems or neutrals will see the comments and think a little.
