John Kerry Has “A Problem” With “America First”

by Staffwriter9 · Published January 10, 2017

While speaking at the U.S. Institute of Peace’s “Passing the Baton” conference on Tuesday, outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry spoke critically of President-elect Trump’s “America First” policies and rhetoric, calling them problematic.

“I worry about this next administration when they talk about America First,” Kerry said.

Kerry spoke of his belief that the United States needs to be more involved in the policies and aid of countries around the world.

“I believe we need urgently a new Marshall Plan, which is focused on the most critical states in world, in certain locations, particularly the Middle East, North Africa, South Central Asia,” Kerry said, referring to the European Recovery Program (ERP) which was a U.S. aid program to rebuild western Europe after the second World War.

This is likely a fake news site.

The only "American Military News" source is the Stars and Stripes.

Just sayin'.  It's a standard phishing/scam tactic to bait people.  "Click here" to help the troops!

And it conveys legitimacy to those that may not have it.

The site is the OP isn't remotely associated with the American military, unlike the Stars and Stripes.  But they are hoping *YOU* don't know that.

I don't have to click on a website to know that it's what Kerry believes.

Check Popular Mechanics and you will find lots of military information, though on the surface it isn't remotely related to the Military.  I have a list of about 50 websites that deal with the military and you wouldn't know by looking at most of them that is the case.

That's the point.  Honest sites don't try to sell themselves as 'military' when they aren't.

J’ai un problème avec l’Amérique d’abord.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Dear John Fn Kerry (who served in Vietnam, just in case you didn't know),

It is not possible to be charitable to others from a position of weakness.  We must be strong ourselves before we can help to lift others.  Your hope that we can help so many other countries, requires that America is the leader.  Let me restate your position, "America needs to help others!"  If that is a fair re-statement, then you MUST advocate an America First approach!

Non-thinking moron.
