Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) is prodding her Democratic colleagues to take a hard line against President-elect Donald Trump — and she is receiving both plaudits and pushback for her efforts.

Vulnerable Democrats up for reelection in states that Trump won easily have signaled an early willingness to work with the president-elect and his party. Incoming Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) has sought a middle path, suggesting he could find common ground with Republicans while cautioning that he will oppose them when they overreach.

I believe Pocahontas will run for president in 2020.  The GOP needs to take her very seriously; she will be a viable threat IF Trump and the GOP don't deliver as promised.

I have no doubt she'll win re-election and remember the DEMS created a special position just for her; they've been grooming her for the presidency.

Right, but she's going to be 71 in 2020.  If Trump runs again, that's likely not going to be a problem.  But if not, she'd be the oldest person ever to run for first-term election.  And if the GOP can offer a younger candidate...she may have missed her window.

I do. Her polling in the state was stinko as of a few months ago. People in MA don't like her. If the GOP can find a viable RINO to challenge her, she could go away sooner than you think.

I don't see Trump running again and if he is successful Pence will probably run and get the nomination.  The DEMS may not have a lo to offer right now in the way of younger candidates; by then perhaps one of the Castro brothers may decide to run.  The GOP needs to deliver and remember that they won be a very narrow victory. Right now we need to focus to INCREASE our majority in the House and Senate in 2018!

Does not matter. The Democrat Party has become the party of old White people from the 60s. They have squeezed everyone else out. Look at the Dem leadership. It is hard to find anyone there who is under 60 or 70 years old. That would mean that most of these guys were born in the 1940s. And they expect to be able to lead America today? in 2017?
