This story is making the rounds, "allegedly" occurred.

Veteran Kicked Out Of Chili's During Veterans Day Promotion

Ernest Walker, a 47 year old US Army Veteran was at Chilis to enjoy their free meal they provided to all Veterans on Veterans day. It all started off well, but then an elderly man who was wearing a Donald Trump shirt made some comments to him about black people in the military. He was then approached by the manager and was told that he "Was not a Veteran" according to another restaurant patron. That's when Walker turned his phone on and took video of the rest of the incident. Eventually Walker left after pleading with the manager. Now the manager is in hot water and Chili's has apologized. It's such a strange altercation and very hard to understand how it escalated to this. Watch the video:

According to some sources, the Veteran in the t-shirt was a World War II vet, that is really long ago. See other sources.

So, the story likely did happen.

I feel badly for this vet, but restaurants offering such promotions should require some evidence of service.  A DD-214, VA card, Legion or other veteran's organization card, etc..  I went to one such promotion, and they checked nothing.  And while I'm sure most of the people there really were vets, it would have been easy for a faker to get a free meal.

I go because I like meeting some of the other vets.  Went to a Golden Corral -- crowded as all hell, probably 2/3 black, mostly older.  My stepson and I sat across from a woman and her child, started talking, etc..  She'd been in the Navy (definitely legit) for 6 years in IT -- actually worked with White House communications at some point in the Pentagon..  Shook hands/fist bumped some older Marines there as well.

One thing I really like about it is that as soon as you walk through that door, race doesn't matter.  We're all (or mostly all) vets, and everyone is friendly to each other.  Then you walk outside, and it's a different world again.

An earlier story said the vet did have some evidence of his service with him at the restaurant.  Presumably, he served in Germany and the Trumpie claimed blacks weren't allowed to serve in Germany.  Maybe that was so during WW II, but I know a black soldier who was stationed in West Berlin back in the 1960s, so it's not true today.

Why did this Trumpie feel the need to question this veteran's service? I would be too busy enjoying my own meal to question someone else's eligibility.

And the manager is an idiot.

Isn't that the way it's supposed to work with everyone, give people a chance, if they are a-holes it will come out instead of people making snap evaluations on appearance. But it's human nature to make snap judgements, hopefully we will all evolve.

The vet has lawyered up and there is a lawsuit in progress.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

The story is a little to handy, a man wearing a Trump t-shirt did this, the man would be most likely in his 90s; not many 90 year olds would have the stamina to pull off something like this though it may be possible.
