They only lost a battle in the big scheme. They are unfortunately a long way from being crushed into the ash heap of failed ideology. Now they will only get more violent and aggressive because their 'birthright' was taken from them for at least 4 years. And it's not a forgone conclusion that Trump won't give them some of what they demand.

Yes, absolutely without a doubt.  We came very, very close.  I don't know what is in store for this country, but personally, I think newly-elect President Trump has chewed off more than he bargained for and I hope Pence is prepared to take up the slack.  I'm not real familiar with Pence and had Trump chosen Cruz, I would feel a lot less uncertain right now about this country's future.
