Students Complain That Anti-Slut Dress Code Promotes Rape Culture

October 25, 2016| by Brian Anderson

All the administrators at a prestigious Boston academy want is for their students is that they come to school dressed appropriately. Somehow the recent enforcement of a dress code, which includes a provision that females don’t dress like prostitutes, is being interpreted as promoting rape culture. Yeah, not being allowed to dress slutty makes girls more likely to get raped, according to some students.

It does when you're a liberal theocrat desperately trying to twist the logic to fit to the pre-desired conclusion/agenda/religion.

Going to say this:  I can kinda see the point.  It's almost a way of saying that if a woman dresses a certain way, then she deserves what happens.  And it re-inforces that guys aren't responsible for their actions, it's a woman's fault because of how she dresses.
Also, they said "rape culture" not rape.
As I understand it, rape culture is where like in the Brock Turner case, there were alot of people saying "Well, she shouldn't have been drinking" or "She shouldn't have gone to that party", and acting like that excuses the guy who raped her, after all, boys will be boys.

I always got a kick out of seeing the girls from one of the local Catholic high schools when they got out of school, rolling their skirts up a few more inches just in case any of the guys hadn't noticed they were, you know, female. That demure plaid skirt doesn't look quite the same - nor cover quite so much - when it's about six or eight inches above the knee.
