Want movie to make more money? Drop 'gay' content
'The myth is that there is this big group out there that wants this stuff'

Movies with no homosexual content make about six times more money at the box office than movies with some, frequent or heavy homosexual content, according to a three-year study by Movieguide and the Christian Film & Television Commission.

The study is part of a detailed economic report to the entertainment industry recently released by Movieguide and the family advocacy group’s founder, Ted Baehr.

“We do an analysis of all [categories of] the box office and for many years, people would say that violence sells or sex sells and of course, we’ve found that not to be the case,” Baehr told WND.

The idea that the Hollyweird lib movie makers are intelligent is belied by the fact they keep making lib agenda-driven movies even if they fail miserably. During the last Iraq War Hollyweird cranked out numerous anti Iraq war flicks one after the other. They all bombed. They could have made a movie about the Marines taking Falluja which would have made a fortune. But they didn't do it.
Libs just can't help themselves. Promoting lib ideology is too important...even at the literal expense of  losing millions of dollars making p.c. flicks nobody wants to see.

Want to make even more money? Stop shoehorning a romance subplot into everything. Have female characters that are characters in their own right, not just meat for the lead. Turn down the damned music volume. Stop filming everything in teal and orange.

"Turn down the damned music volume"

The wife and I have noticed that as well. At times we have to turn on the subtitles because there's music playing over the dialogue.

Who took Hillary's cat? I don't know, I just saw the cat with her yesterday, but now it's disappeared. She probably drowned it. But who the he** cares?

What's wrong with a romantic subplot about Abu falling in love with his camel? :silly:

Another one of those Liberal myths...the gay "majority".

Roughly three percent of the population of the U.S. is "gay".

Yet the left with coordination by the MSM and Hollywood portrays the gay culture as something more predominant in American society than what it really is in order to push a narrative.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Stop making movies where some 5-foot-two chick beats up six guys at the same time.

'Shoehorning' is right. No one wants to see a car chase in a romantic comedy or a sex scene in an action movie.

Investors want films that appeal to every demographic. The result is a mash of everything in every big dollar movie.

Which actually brings me on to my biggest complaint ....

Take some damned risks!

Seems 99% of the releases are sequels or remakes.

The same syndrome has turned popular music into analogous mush. as well. No one will fund anything that hasn't already been proven a money maker.
