Trump: 'I am the law and order candidate'

The presumptive GOP nominee's comments came just days after a gunman killed five police officers.

Hillary Clinton can add the title "secretary of the status quo" to her political résumé, according to Donald Trump, who on Monday also bestowed another moniker upon himself: "the law and order candidate."

“We must maintain law and order at the highest level or we will cease to have a country, 100 percent,” he said during a speech in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in which he heaped praise upon America' law enforcement officers. "We will cease to have a country. I am the law and order candidate."

Trump’s comments came just days after a gunman killed five police officers and injured nine more in an attack in downtown Dallas. That shooting came at the end of a rally organized to mourn the shooting deaths of two black men, one in Louisiana and one in Minnesota, at the hands of police officers.

Ummm...I was making a statement about politicians in general...no where in my thought process did your Orange Jesus come into the reasoning for typing what I did.

I just finished reading about the Sharpstown Scandal in Texas duirng the early 70's...THAT and not Donny J prompted me to make the statement I did.

Get down off your High Trump and realize that yes...I AM capable of making general comments about politics that don't involve King Presumptive.

Trump needs to build on this very effective speech yesterday.   He was scripted and on point.

The sloppy late night Twitter throwaways have to stop.    Hillary can be defeated but only by a disciplined and relentless message.

Crime is out of control, and rapidly getting worse. Look what is going on in Chicago and our inner cities. Not good!


Violent crime is almost at a historic low but Trump has to convince voters that things are terrible.  The dopes who lap this stuff up think presidents should intervene in local matters.

Plus, Trump is going on trial for fraud three weeks after the election.

So why don't we try practical examples?

Trump makes note of weak interior immigration enforcement, and sanctuary cities. The woman murdered in San Francisco, by an illegal immigrant, roaming freely.

Which part of the Constitution would he be violating, in dealing more seriously with borders, criminals, etc.?

Likewise what part of the Constitution would he be violating, in getting more serious about admitting muslim "refugees?"

Can you show the Constitutional violations he is proposing to make?

Does the Constitution force us to allow the illegal immigrant murderer back into our country, or the cities to give them free reign? Or force us to allow more, and more young muslim men to enter?

Between Nixon, Reagan and Trump stating they intended to protect and serve decent citizens with law and order, or Hillary with her stated intention of scolding whites, and curtailing the 2nd Amendment, you come down with Clinton?
