Trump fires back: Ginsburg's comments a 'disgrace to the court'

Donald Trump on Tuesday dismissed Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's criticism of his presidential campaign, calling her remarks "beneath the court."

“I think it’s highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign, frankly,” Trump said in an interview with The New York Times.

“I think it’s a disgrace to the court and I think she should apologize to the court. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it,” he added.

Trump's response comes after Ginsburg blasted the candidate, saying that she can not "imagine what this place would be" under Trump. She added that she may even move to New Zealand if he wins in November.

“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” Justice Ginsburg told the Times.

“For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that,” she added.

Ginsburg doubles down on Trump criticism

There are a lot of folks on the left who won't even defend her on this.  Disgraceful.  I once had a federal judge make Democratic party smalltalk with opposing counsel during a pretrial conference, then joke that my client and I were likely being bored because "you are probably Republicans."  It was actually embarrassing to have my client witness that a federal judge could be that biased.  So after the case, I reported him for unethical conduct.  Heard that it made an internal stink at the courthouse, which was nice.

I agree. It is disgusting and Ginsburg is a disgrace.
