Bronx man fatally beats would-be rapist who attacked his wife

When the elevator doors opened, career criminal Earl Nash went down — for the last time in his life.

After trying to sexually assault a woman in her Bronx home, the would-be rapist was beaten to death by the victim’s enraged husband, who bashed him in the head with a tire iron, sources said.

Good for him.  He was arrested, of course, though released on his own recognizance.  The prosecutor is still threatening to charge him with manslaughter (because the thug had finished his business and was walking away from the apartment when the husband arrived).  If he's charged, this would be a good case for jury nullification.

Need tire-iron control.  (There, I said it first!)

Can't have those tire irons falling out of cars, jumping into the hands of untrained people, who then take the law into their own hands, and MURDER innocent .. ah.. er ... rapists... almost rapists?? 

Think of the children with their tire irons!  Oh, the horror of those UNCONTROLLED GUNS out there!

Ooops, I meant "tire irons".   I really did...honest.

Just by way of added color, the dead rapist was a career felon with some nasty crimes under his belt.

The article said attempted rape- it will be hard to prove them an intended to rape her if he didn't actually rape her as was apparently walking away- This mayl ikely go to court IF this is the case? I'm not sure what hte details are- just going by the post posted here-
