You name at most a few dozen out of hundreds of businesses and call it "most."  The Trump U thing is sketchy I admit, but name me a billionaire who has never been sued and I'll care about it.  Nutrition supplements are always under attack by drug companies, and leasing his name is branding and not at all a scam.

It's not about being sued, it's about marketing a substandard product.  Just 'cause you don't get sued doesn't mean your product don't stink.

Name me a business in a competitive market that doesn't have people who think it's substandard?  Odd criticisms.  Who has Kasich ever employed with his own money, and not money that came from taxpayers?  I like Ted Cruz and want him as the nominee, but which families has he clothed and fed through a private business that he built?
Guess who got the NYT's endorsement in the GOP primary?

Casinos employ a lot of middle-class Americans, too, so I'm not sure how it's a scam.

Casinos always win, and most people who frequent casinos are lower middle class.

It's not the supplements that were the problem with Trump, or his phony phone service.  It's the MLM schemes, which rely on stupid people to buy into the "system."  Doesn't matter what the product is.

MLM is the sleaziest kind of marketing there is.

I find a career in public service while enriching oneself to be the ultimate scam.  That's been Kasich's MO his entire life.  He did get paid off handsomely as a lobbyist and an "author" during his 8 year run in the private world, though.  He did a hell of a job making millions at Lehman Brothers on their board as he guided them to bankruptcy, I'll give him that.  Wouldn't you call that a "scam," too?

As for casinos being mostly lower middle-class, I don't believe you on that one at all.  Do you have a source?

You must have me confused with a Trump supporter?  You're speculating that it is Trump's intention to default and restructure loans you don't even know if he has taken out for his campaign.

That's a real tall strawman right there, isn't it?

A straw an is it?

Why is it then when I suggested that Trump intended to do such a thing, your reply was "probably"?

I didn't realize you were also making up his intent in your fantastical post about him maybe/maybe not taking out loans.

Sorry, I don't deal in straw dog arguments and maybes.  Best of luck to ya!   :seeya:

What exactly did you think I meant when I said this?

My guess is that Herr Donald has been securing loans to finance his "self-funded" candidacy.

Then I suggested (Donald is so fond of this maneuver that he actually brags about it in The Art of the Deal) that he would renegotiate the debt load and pay cents on the dollar.

You responded "probably" and pointed out that it wasn't illegal.

Now you're saying that what you deemed probable before suddenly is a straw man?

Get your s#it together man. You change positions on a subject faster than Herr Donald.

Yet completely honest in his description of himself and why he donated.  Meanwhile, what's Kasich's stance of gay marriage this week?  How about banning assault weapons?

We have a former Democrat talking like a Republican in Trump, and a supposed Republican talking like a Democrat in Kasich saying I'm not a good Christian if I don't want to allow 12 million illegals to cut in line in front of immigrants doing things the right way.  Granting amnesty isn't going to make them Americans in anything other than name and receiving welfare.  Apparently Jesus H. Kasich doesn't care a bit about what it means to be an American and love this country.

I'll go with the guy who may be lying over the one who doesn't even respect me or this country enough to have a sense of citizen's pride.

What is it with Trump supporters?  They either know that Trumps immigration plan is amnesty and are pretending that it isn't.  Or they don't know because Donald doesn't get very specific.  But it is.  Trump has said exactly what his plan is in interviews.  It touchback amnesty.  Out and expedite back immediately in front of every immigrant who have been waiting to come legally.

How is finding a loophole in the rules "fraud?"

You should make that point to Trump.

He's the one whining about Colorado, North Dakota and Iowa.

Why would I make that point to Trump?  I already mocked him for the bully whining about being bullied.

Do you have a point other than a binary attack?  Your off-topic posts are confusing to me.

Yeah I'm feeling the same toward you.  You can't even address the topic of the thread without using your imagination to make things up out of whole cloth.

Let's agree to not engage.  Clearly you have anger issues and are very immature.

Is there an ignore feature on this site?  This guy obviously isn't worth my time and isn't here for honest discussion.

Trump university was nothing but a scam that preyed upon those in need.  Trump is doing the same with his electorate; preying upon those who are angry, downtrodden, uninformed, etc.  You are probably correct in stating that most billionaires have been sued.  However, it is Trump's nature to sue those or strong arm those who get in his way or who stand in his way to get ahead (as in the case of eminent domain and Vera Coking).  Because of his record of 'bullying' his way to get ahead, I find it quite incomprehensible that his supporters believe that he wants to be president to make America great again. Trump will only do for America what benefits Trump ... not the country ... not the people ... but Donald J. Trump.  The guy is a liberal sleaze ball.

Who does Kasich represent?  Certainly not the will of GOP primary voters.  He had to campaign in Ohio to attract Democrat crossover votes to win his own state.

I'll vote for Trump over a career establishment politician like Kasich every day of the week.

What does Kasich have anything at all to do with Trump?? I never mentioned Kasich in regards to this topic.  I specifically addressed the issue of Trump university being a scam and Trump preying upon those in need.  Secondly, I specifically mentioned that it is in Trump's nature to sue or to 'strong arm' those who get in his way or stand in his way to get ahead.

By the way, I am not by any means a fan of Kasich, nor do I understand why he's still in the race, I can only speculate.

My bad.  This place seems to be anti-Trump/pro-Kasich central.  I apologize for assuming your position and going off-topic!  My first flame suit here is almost worn out so my defenses are a bit weak.  I'll go put on a new one!
