Cuba's state-run media slams 'negro' Obama for visit
Columnist blames president for 'inciting rebellion'

A columnist for the Havana Tribune, a newspaper controlled by Cuba’s government, slammed President Obama for his recent visit and accused the White House chief of “inciting rebellion” among the residents.

The article, written by a black columnist named Elias Argudin, was entitled, according to a rough translation into English, “Black Man, Are You Dumb?” As Breitbart noted, the exactly translation references the phrase, “pretend to be a Swede,” a saying that means to “play dumb.”

The ‘Stop Hillary’ campaign is on fire! Join the surging response to this theme: ‘Clinton for prosecution, not president’

Argudin took specific umbrage with Obama’s suggestions, offered “subtly,” that Cuba needed reform.

“Obama came, saw, but unfortunately, with the pretend gesture of lending a hand, tried to conquer,” he wrote, Breitbart reported. “[Obama] chose to criticize and subtly suggest … incitations to rebellion and disorder, without caring that he was on foreign ground. Without a doubt, Obama overplayed his hand. The least I can say is, Virulo-style: ‘Negro, are you dumb?'”

Argudin also accuses Obama of hypocrisy, because America is racist and needs reform.

“Which freedom [does Cuba need] – the freedom enjoyed by white police to massacre and manhandle black people?” he wrote.

Wonder why Barack Obama does what he does? Andrew G. Hodges, a psychiatrist who specializes in forensic profiling, may have the answer, in “The Obama Confession: Secret Fear. Secret Fury.”

Argudin, facing criticism about his piece, then wrote an apology and clarification.

“I did not write a racist column,” he wrote, in his followup opinion. “The word ‘negro’ is mentioned twice, in the title and the phrase giving the article its name, which isn’t even mine. It is a reference to a comedy work. Journalism has its rules. It also allows some licenses. Among the demands of the job there is a very important one: capture the reader’s attention from the title.”

Cuba’s Fidel Castro, brother of President Raul Castro, turned on Obama after he left the island, as well.

Shortly after Obama left, Castro published a letter entitled “Brother Obama,” and that said in part: “We do not need the empire to give us anything.”
