SAN DIEGO (AP) — Tarla Makaeff has had enough of Donald Trump after spending six years fighting him in court.

The Southern California yoga instructor wants to withdraw from a federal class-action lawsuit that says Trump University fleeced students with an empty promise to teach them real estate. Her lawyers said the Republican presidential front-runner and his team have put her "through the wringer" and made the prospect of a trial unbearable. A judge will consider the request Friday, four days before Florida and Ohio hold their primaries.

Trump's attorneys say the lawsuit should be dismissed if Makaeff is allowed to withdraw, arguing that their trial strategy centers on her. They deposed her four times and identify her as "the critical witness" in a court filing.

Anybody else think he's made her an offer she can't refuse?

"Donald Trump's now-defunct Trump University."

This is incorrect Information. Donald Trump made it clear in his presser last night that Trump University is simply on hold while the civil lawsuit is adjudicated.

Another thing that Trump clarified were the lies that Mitt Romney told. Trump Steaks, Trump water, Trump wine, Trump magazine are sideline businesses that are doing quite well, contrary to  Mitt's claims. Trump owns dozens of hotels, restaurants, spas and other businesses that he supplies with his own brand of water, wine, magazines, etc.

What's more, while Mitt was criticizing Trump for failed companies, Mitt Romney had fifteen of his companies go bankrupt. That is fully 22% of Bain Capital's companies. Trump had 4 companies in chapter 11. That's something like 0.08% of the companies in the Trump Organization.

Romney is a hypocrite and establishment liar.

You can smell the desperation from the Rubio/establishment/Bush wing of the Republican Party.

Trump water: regular water in plastic bottles with a cheap label thrown on them and sold at a premium to the tubes and chumps.  Just like the old patent medicines.

Trump could walk on water and you'd criticize him for not knowing how to swim.

Well known clothing company "Gap"

Top equals Banana Republic
mid equals the Gap
bottom equals Old Navy

People pay a premium for the "prestige" and "perceived" value of "luxury" brands,

comprende ??

Well known auto brand, VW group

Top  equals Bentley
Top equals Porsche
Luxury equals Audi
mid-low equals VW

You can shell out your money on products, or on perceived luxury and exclusivity if you like.

Or just buy Arrowhead water.

Yeah going to be tough to explain all those glowing reviews she wrote when she was making money  to a Judge. Kind of hard to square those reviews with the notion when she made bad deals it is Trumps fault and he should pay for her decisions

Well when the Mods are on the same side as the smear bots, there are no standards anymore.

Noone will know if they were right until after Trump has been in office for 30 days.

Maybe 45.

Trump is not squeaky clean by any stretch.  Those voting for him are doing so at least as much in retaliation for being lied to since Reagan left office as much as they are voting for Trump.

Yes, and that's why a person is a sucker if they pay extra for 'Drumpf' water.

Are you kidding me!  The Mods are either neutral or trumped up.

The standard being used is the TOS standard.  Anything less that a purge of all members not worshipping Trump is considered 'support' of Trump.

Whereas considering those on the other side, the non-Trump side, there is no such standard.

That says much.

Didn't Drumpf brag that he gave everyone's money back who asked for it? Another lie straight from his mouth along with the fake water bottles (that are private labeled from a company that sells water to gas stations), fake magazine (it is his hotel pamphlet that is only printed once a year) and his fake steak company (the label from the real company that makes them was clearly visible at his speech) last night.

We've been forced to vote for politicians for years and we keep getting dumped on. I for one am willing to see a change.

Lots of gullible dumb people in the world.

Bottled water; http://www.rd.com/health/diet-weight-loss/rethink-what-you-drink/http://

Remember the drinking fountain, that once ubiquitous, and free, source of H2O? It seems quaint now. Instead, bottled water is everywhere, in offices, airplanes, stores, homes and restaurants across the country. We consumed over eight billion gallons of the stuff in 2006, a 10 percent increase from 2005. It’s refreshing, calorie-free, convenient to carry around, tastier than some tap water and a heck of a lot healthier than sugary sodas. But more and more, people are questioning whether the water, and the package it comes in, is safe, or at least safer than tap water—and if the convenience is worth the environmental impact.

What’s in That Bottle?
Evocative names and labels depicting pastoral scenes have convinced us that the liquid is the purest drink around. “But no one should think that bottled water is better regulated, better protected or safer than tap,” says Eric Goldstein, co-director of the urban program at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a nonprofit organization devoted to protecting health and the environment.

Yes, some bottled water comes from sparkling springs and other pristine sources. But more than 25 percent of it comes from a municipal supply. The water is treated, purified and sold to us, often at a thousandfold increase in price. Most people are surprised to learn that they’re drinking glorified tap water, but bottlers aren’t required to list the source on the label.

This year Aquafina will begin stating on labels that its H2O comes from public water sources. And Nestlé Pure Life bottles will indicate whether the water comes from public, private or deep well sources. Dasani acknowledges on its website, but not on the label itself, that it draws from local water.
