"The Militia takeover in Harney County HAS accomplished one thing…all of a sudden public officials who usually think of Oregon as ONLY the Willamette Valley, actually claim to give a damn about lands east of the Cascades. Governor Kate Brown says the standoff, in her words is “intolerable and must be resolved immediately”. Funny thing, Democrats who run every government in Oregon tolerate plenty of damaging lawlessness right under their own noses and don’t bat an eye. Kate Brown lives in a town where the Occupy Movement took over a whole park for a couple of months with damages in the millions. Last summer, she didn’t say much about the human piñatas who hung from the St. John’s bridge and blocked commercial river traffic on the Willamette. Bums who set up camp on the streets in every city foster crime, human waste, child abuse, drug dealing and more. Brown let a foster care scam steal millions from taxpayers and abuse children. You didn’t find THAT intolerable, did you Kate?
I won’t defend the tactics of the Bundy Militia. I want them out too. But the solution seems easy. They get regular resupply. Cut that off. Cut off the power and the water to the building. Set up a roadblock. Anyone who comes out gets arrested for the crimes already committed and no new militia get in. But Governor Brown, stop the hypocrisy when it comes to lawless behavior, because you’re surrounded with it, and stop faking your concern for Eastern Oregon."
