Hillary Clinton Warns That Guns, Not Criminals, Are Committing Crimes

Look out! The machines have become self-aware and want to destroy humanity. It’s like The Terminator and The Matrix all wrapped up in a horrible extinction-event apocalypse. Hillary Clinton, who never lies or exaggerates, warns us that guns are committing crimes in NYC. Not that criminals with guns are committing crimes, but rather just the guns. It is time to panic.
Part of Hillary’s ridiculous strategy to beat a socialist kook for the democratic nomination is to portray anti-gun Bernie Sanders as a gun rights champion. To be clear, Sanders has D-minus rating from the NRA and wants to ban “assault rifles.” He’s not pro-gun by any stretch of the imagination.
Hillary however has a vivid imagination, and that’s a nice way of saying she is completely full of shit. At a campaign event in New York on Monday, Hillary took her misrepresentation of Sanders’ record on guns to a new low. She actually tried to blame him for the crime in NYC.
Sanders is a Senator from Vermont and Hillary said that most illegal guns in NYC come from his state. The implication is that because Sanders is soft on guns, NYC is getting flooded with crime guns from Vermont. It’s a total lie, but since when has Hillary ever cared about the truth?
It wasn’t so much the lie that stuck out, as it was the way Hillary worded it. Here’s what The Washington Post reported she said:
“Here’s what I want you to know: Most of the guns that are used in crimes and violence and killings in New York come from out of state. The state that has the highest per-capita number of those guns that end up committing crime in New York come from Vermont,” Clinton said, eliciting gasps from the audience of a couple hundred. (my emphasis)
I wonder if the audience was gasping because Hillary Clinton just said that guns are committing crimes.
I changed my mind. This isn’t like The Terminator or The Matrix; it’s like Stephen King’s Maximum Overdrive. The premise for one of the worst movies ever made is, that either a comet or a UFO makes all of the machines on Earth come to life to destroy humans. It’s a stupid concept made even dumber by the facts that it takes place before everything had a computer in it and many of the human-killing machines aren’t even motorized.
One scene that makes me think of Hillary’s absurd guns-committing-crimes theory has a flatbed cart with an M60 machine gun mounted on it. The cart drives up and starts shooting at some people trapped in a diner. This machine gun is not motorized, nor does it have an actuator to pull the trigger, yet somehow it fires. The M60 is mounted on a pole that is also not motorized so it’s hard to figure out how this thing can move around to aim at the people. And while were at it, the machinegun has no sensors or cameras that would even allow it to detect human beings. Even with comet or UFO magic bewitching it, this unmanned M60 would be as deadly to humans as a garden rake leaning against a shed.
And that’s the thing about guns. They are just innocuous chunks of metal and polymer that don’t do anything on their own. They require some human manipulation to function. The old adage that guns don’t kill people, people kill people is 100% true.
Then again, Hillary Clinton has an X-Files level of interest in exposing the truth about UFOs. Maybe she’s privy to some top-secret information that extraterrestrials have animated inanimate objects like guns to destroy all humans. Maybe that’s what is on the 2000 e-mails from her illegal unsecured private e-mail sever that he feds can’t release.
