What version of Michael Brown does the above memorial refer to? Certainly not the one caught on videotape, or the substantial criminal record already accumulated at such a young age, or the resulting riots that destroyed a portion of a city and people’s livelihood.

No, what we have here is purposeful historical revisionism to use the events of Ferguson to better coordinate with the national effort of “US -vs- THEM” that has become the sad and dangerous hallmark of the Obama years.
A nation divided is a nation far more easily manipulated and controlled, and it appears more and more reasonable to assume that is exactly what has been going on with all of this race-baiting madness in America of late.
Michael Brown should be an example to all youth, regardless of color, of the potential dangers of choosing a life that so often disregards common sense, decency, or purpose.
That was not the life chosen by Mr. Brown, and as such, should not be a life worthy of memorializing by a city traumatized by the sad aftermath of another life wasted.
