Some Black People And A Few Dozen White Libs: That’s What “Millions March Texas” Could Muster

By Robert Gehl, January 18, 2015.

They’re calling it “Millions March Texas” because the more accurate “Dozens of Mostly White People Meander About in Austin” didn’t have the same oomph.

With weeks of planning, Twitter and Facebook pages and a slick website, anti-cop protesters were hoping for a massive turnout at the Texas capitol.

When it all went down yesterday, the spectacle was a little, um … not so much. Here are some photos of the event, which liberal media in Austin are calling “big crowds.”  It’s a big crowd for a neighborhood barbeque, or a new Starbucks opening, but for a rally called “Millions”? Er, no.

Austin is very liberal – especially in Texas. How they were unable to manage more than a few hundred protesters is beyond me.

Their Twitter feed had 132 followers.

They started yesterday at the MLK statue on the grounds of the University of Texas and walked about a mile to the state Capitol. They then “marched” into the empty senate chambers and started shouting slogans and chants.

Sound and fury.
