The President Argues AGAINST Executive Amnesty!

We’ve had 6 years now of President Obama’s double-talk and circular speech, so we’ve all grown used to it. But wait until you see how dramatically President Obama has changed his position on Executive Amnesty…

The Washington Free Beacon put together this great video as well as collecting and documenting the many times President Obama has argued against using Executive Action on Amnesty.

In 2011, he told a Univision town hall that there “are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system.” To ignore those congressional mandates through executive order, Obama said, would “not conform with my appropriate role as president.”

“I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the [immigration] on my own,” he told the National Council of La Raza that year. “Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions. That’s not how our Constitution is written.”

Wow, what a difference a day makes, huh? Now the President is preparing to shove a 10-point plan that would essentially grant amnesty to almost 5 million illegal aliens right down our collective throats.

This is just another example of the modern liberal ethos of “Do Whatever It Takes.” Executive Amnesty, Obamacare, the NSA, the IRS, the Justice Department, the AP/Fox News Scandal… all branches on the modern liberal tree.
