U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Harold Greene was buried Aug. 14 in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery, outside Washington, D.C. Maj. Gen. Greene, who was gunned down Aug. 5 while visiting an Afghan military academy, was the highest-ranking Army officer to be killed in combat since the Vietnam War.
