On a different note, people in a coma look nothing like people who are sleeping, either. Except for breathing in and out, people in coma appear almost devoid of life.
Totally agree - but there is still something there that is missing when they pass. Been bugging me, so been thinking about it and I don't know. Is it the slight tension in the muscles? The very slight, almost invisible vibrations? Only ever seen one person in a coma (one of my aunts, in her last few days before falling to cancer). Seen a lot of unconscious and a lot of dead though and the contrast is huge between the two.
