Favorite Movie Scenes...we probably all come up with our own 'top 10' list of movies, which would have at least one gripping, moving scene or dialogue.
My favorite movies have multiple scenes. My sons and I can start a dialogue and do alternate characters....so I have "it" bad.
Just a love of movies and great acting.
I'd like to invite everybody to post a youtube video of their favorite scenes....in any genre. I'll start.

Mickey Rourke and Eric Roberts.....a must see movie for your bucket list. LOL! A great story and great cast.

Can't find a video but this is one of my fav lines...from Duke of course
From *She Wore A Yellow Ribbon*
Captain Nathan Brittles: You're not quite "Army" yet, miss... or you'd know never to apologize... it's a sign of weakness.
The Last of the Mohicans
Maj. Heyward: There is a war on. How is it you are heading west?
Hawkeye: Well, we face to the north and, real sudden-like, turn left.

Thanks, Myst.
Yeah....I was making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and suddenly saw The Pope of Greenwich Village on. The scene above was just beginning.
To anybody that has never seen the movie, the clip may affect you one way.
But I guarantee you that when you see the whole movie, it will have perhaps a different effect on you.
Then I thought of how many movies we all must have that stick with you. That you can recall instantly in your mind's eye.
Looking forward to seeing members' favorite scenes....

Scene from Gone With The Wind: At night Scaarlet on her knees digs up Turnip and devours it..stands, shakes fist at the sky, declares angrily, "As God is my witness I'll never be hungry again!"
(I gotta learn how to post videos and pics etc.)

In The Wizard Of Oz when the black and white screen turns to vivid color and a screen full of munchkins break into song. It's still magical.
Fred Astaire dancing in any movie. Gene Kelly too. It was more than dancing, it was art.

Two scenes from PSYCHO:
1. The shower scene with the stabbing through the shower curtain and the blood circling around down the drain.
2. When the sister of Janet Leigh goes down the basement and finds the mother sitting in a rocking chair with her
back to the sister. The sister swiftly turns the chair around to reveal a skelaten in a wig.

This one is a little more obscure, but a great scene from David Lynch's masterpiece "Blue Velvet." Lynch has done a lot of fine work since then, but everything he has done seems derivative of this and nothing has surpassed the original.
