Turley explains why Comey’s testimony might just ‘trip the wire’ into perjury
July 9, 2025 | Hailey Gomez

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley appeared Tuesday on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” and asked if former FBI Director James Comey’s previous 2020 testimony to the Senate could “trip the wire to perjury.”

Both Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan reportedly have been brought under criminal investigation for false testimony to Congress for potential wrongdoing in relation to the push of the infamous Steele dossier, alleging a conspiracy between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, according to Fox News Digital. Replaying a clip of Comey’s 2020 testimony to the Senate, in which he pleaded ignorance to significant problems with the Steele dossier, Fox’s Laura Ingraham called the former FBI director’s answer “dismissive.”

“Now, I remember listening to that testimony and just almost falling out of my chair,” Turley said. “Virtually everything he said was untrue. In fact, the IG reports shredded the FBI and said that they didn’t follow protocol, that they ignored counterintelligence. So they pushed the Steele dossier forward, and these were two of the key individuals who did that.”

“So the question is, does any of this trip the wire to perjury? Both of these are sophisticated players,” Turley added. “You’ll notice that they’re very careful in how they word this. You know, Comey is very careful to say that there wasn’t basically malicious intent. Not that there weren’t mistakes, and time and time again, Comey portrayed himself as ignorant of all of these countervailing sources.”

No way she could have written all that.  I bet she used AI to do it.
I doubt she wrote it either, I am guessing she wrote the last won that she got got destroyed over and this was either written by her staff or her staff with AI. I seriously doubt Brown can walk and chew gum let alone figure out how to use AI.

ALERT: It looks like Laken Riley’s killer is trying to con his way out of prison
July 9, 2025 | Vivek Saxena

Jose Ibarra, the Venezuelan illegal alien who killed Laken Riley, is seemingly trying to con his way out of prison with a mental health diagnosis.

Last November, a judge found Ibarra guilty of murder and sentenced him to life in prison without parole after he waived his right to a jury trial and chose a bench trial instead.

Months later, his attorneys are now trying to roll back the clock by claiming that he was too mentally challenged to understand what he was doing when he opted for a bench trial, not to mention when he committed Riley’s murder.

He’s “suffering from a congenital deficiency which could render the client incapable of preparing a defense and standing trial,” they wrote in a request to the court, according to the New York Post.

He “lacks the mental capacity to understand the nature and object and proceedings and council believes that this was in existence at the time of the offense and at the time of the trial,” they added.

Prosecutor Sheila Ross didn’t buy it.

President Trump waives executive privilege for Biden’s doctor, compelling him to testify
July 9, 2025 | Kevin Haggerty

Stall tactics attempting to skate out of congressional testimony instead found former President Joe Biden’s White House physician losing a Hail Mary defense.

While corporate media feigned surprise at the state of Biden’s mental acuity throughout his administration, Congress was attempting to pin down the impact those complicit had with the exercise of executive authority. Amid the investigation that raised questions as to who was using the autopen, former White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor’s attempt to avoid testimony on Biden’s mental health found President Donald Trump waiving his executive privilege.

“In light of unique and extraordinary nature of the matters under investigation,” began the letter to O’Connor sent by Trump Deputy Counsel Gary Lawkowski and shared on X by Fox News politics reporter Elizabeth Elkind, “President Trump has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and therefor is not justified, with respect to particular subjects within the purview of the House Oversight Committee.”

Democrats Hit With Devastating Blow As Senate Hopes Dwindle

Published 23 hours ago

By Mark Steffen

Republicans in Washington, D.C., are keeping a close eye on next year’s U.S. Senate map, which is favorable but also boasts several vulnerable incumbents who must be protected if they are to keep a majority after 2026.

Their hopes were buoyed on Tuesday as the main fundraising arm for Senate Republicans reported a record-smashing haul for the first half of 2025, surpassing already lofty expectations and putting its incumbents and challengers in a formidable position 16 months before Election Day.

The Senate GOP’s top super PAC and its affiliated entities raised a combined $85 million in the first half of the year, more than doubling their previous record.

The largesse underscores how potent Republicans’ fundraising prowess has become under Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), who assumed his position after Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), another fundraising powerhouse, announced his decision to step down from leadership and not seek reelection.

Alex Latcham, executive director of the Senate Leadership Fund, credited President Donald Trump with being more involved than he had been when McConnell was in charge of the effort.

Latcham co-runs the PAC alongside former Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) after the duo took over from Steven Law, a close McConnell ally.

“We’re working with [the White House] to identify and vet Senate candidates,” Latcham told Axios, describing Trump’s involvement as an asset “as we navigate some of these primaries.”

Trump trolls ‘Palestinian senator’ Chuck Schumer, claims his career has ‘limited’ time left: ‘I hear AOC is gonna beat him’
By Ryan King
Published July 8, 2025, 3:57 p.m. ET

President Trump on Tuesday gleefully needled his longtime foe, New York Dem Sen. Chuck Schumer, by predicting that “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would beat him if she takes him on in 2028.

Trump, going off on a tangent during a discussion on the deadly floods that unleashed hell on Texas Hill Country last week, said the Senate minority leader has a penchant for blaming him for crises.

“I saw a Palestinian senator, his name is Schumer. He’s a great Palestinian,” Trump said of the pol, who is the highest elected Jewish official in the country.

“He’s become a Palestinian, he has abandoned the Jews,” Trump claimed in a jab at the top Senate Democrat’s criticisms of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demands for better conditions for the Palestinians.

How many of those on Medicaid are illegal aliens?
9
Wrong.  Trump is deporting the invaders.

Maybe if Dems fought as hard for deplorables as they do for illegal aliens, they might be able to get more votes from white guys.

I don't think they should be pushing this if they want to keep their power-grab over the energy sector alive.

Were it true, increased vulcanism would provide a cooling effect that would counteract greenhouse gas warming (or lowered cloud-formation warming which is more realistically what's been going on).
