President Macron was last night facing calls to impose a state of emergency after marauding gangs of rioters - some armed with stolen rifles - clashed with police in a fourth night of mayhem.
Thousands of looters ransacked some of France's major cities as local police declared they were now at 'war' with 'savage hordes of vermin' - with officers from two of the country's biggest policing unions now threatening to revolt.
Britain's Foreign Office issued an alert to tourists thinking of travelling to France, as the violence continued to deepen following the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk who was 'executed' by French police during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
The teenager's funeral is being held today to the backdrop of large parts of France being engulfed by fires, violence and devastating riots.
More than two million Britons are set to travel to France as the summer season begins, with officials now imploring tourists to take out travel insurance as they claim it is more important than ever.

Rioters were again seen rampaging through the streets of Marseille, Lille and Paris, amid claims looters broke into a gun shop and stole hunting rifles while others ransacked a police station. Cars, buses and government buildings have been set alight and fireworks have been launched at police.
There were more than 3,800 fires on public roads last night, while more than 500 buildings were set alight.
Emmanuel Macron green lit the use of armoured vehicles and riot police, as 45,000 officers were deployed in a desperate attempt to regain control. But the French president has been blasted for not acting fast enough.

PARIS, June 30 (Reuters) - France's interior minister said on Friday the coming hours would be decisive as he sent 45,000 police onto the streets following three nights of riots since an officer shot dead a teenager at a traffic stop in a working class suburb of Paris.
The violence, in which buildings and vehicles have been torched and stores looted, has plunged President Emmanuel Macron into the gravest crisis of his leadership since the Yellow Vest protests that started in 2018.
Unrest has flared nationwide, including in cities such as Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Lille as well as Paris where Nahel M., a 17-year-old of Algerian and Moroccan descent, was shot on Tuesday in the Nanterre suburb.
His death, which was caught on video, has reignited longstanding complaints by poor, racially mixed, urban communities of police violence and racism.

France was the leader of European condemnation of Israel over how they deal with Arab terrorists. PARIS (AP) – Rioting raged in cities around France for a fourth night despite a huge police deployment and 1,311 arrests, with cars and buildings set ablaze and stores looted, as family and friends prepared Saturday to bury the 17-year-old whose killing by police unleashed the unrest.
France’s Interior Ministry announced the new figure for arrests around the country, where 45,000 police officers fanned out in a so-far unsuccessful bid to quell violence.
Despite an appeal to parents by President Emmanuel Macron to keep their children at home, street clashes between young protesters and police raged on. About 2,500 fires were set and stores were ransacked, according to authorities.
The funeral ceremony for the teen, identified only as Nahel, who was killed by police in the Paris suburb of Nanterre on Tuesday, began on Saturday. Family and friends were viewing the open coffin before it will be taken to a mosque for a ceremony and later burial in a town cemetery.

Difference is that you have a much higher percentage of true rioters in France. Most black Americans don't want rioting. But for a lot of the Muslims in Europe, this is a shot to redo the verdicts of Tours and Vienna.

Europe in general is having a problem with Muslims taking over. With our open borders, I don't think that the U.S. has learned from Europe. France and Germany have both seen heavy Muslim migration (supposed refugees) into their countries as well as Denmark and others.

French police have declared they are 'at war' with 'savage hordes of vermin' amid widespread rioting and looting that saw a bus stolen and a car smashed into a supermarket front.
Two police unions threatened a revolt unless Emmanuel Macron's government restored order amid protests sparked by the killing of a French-Algerian teenager by police on Tuesday - also causing the French president to cancel his trip to Germany.
'Today the police are in combat because we are at war,' a report from the unions said. 'Tomorrow we will enter resistance and the government should be aware of this.'
It comes as marauding gangs of rioters clashed with police again last night leading to 1,300 arrests. Footage showed the extreme chaos on French streets as rioters were seen speeding in a bus and smashing a car into the front of a Lidl supermarket.
The friends and family of Nahel today attended the funeral of the 17-year-old shot at point-blank range by an officer at a traffic stop earlier this week.

Rioting continued in France Saturday night, after 17-year-old Algerian Nahel M. was killed after a high-speed chase in Paris suburb Nanterre Tuesday. While Mainstream Media fan the flames of hate and violence by blaming the police and portraying Nahel as an innocent victim, the 17-year old hoodlum had a long police record and appeared in a cop-hating gangsta rap video just last month.
At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, two motorcycle officers saw Nahel M. in a high-powered, bright yellow Mercedes A-Class AMG with Polish license plates, racing through Nanterre, and gave chase. The 17-year old led them on a pursuit over sidewalks, through red lights and down bus lanes until finally forced to stop by traffic at 8:16 am.
The two officers dismounted and confronted the homicidal maniac at gunpoint, demanding he cut the engine. Instead, Nahel M floored it, striking the officer in front of his windshield and possibly triggering the gunshot which hit him fatally in the chest. The speeding sports car then struck an obstacle and flipped on its roof. One passenger fled on foot and one was arrested.
Nahel was 17, too young to have a French driver’s license. The Mercedes A Class AMG typically has 300 Horsepower and can do 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The vehicle with Polish license plates was reported to be a rental, of the kind young migrant men like to use for “Fast & Furious” style road races, which often recklessly endanger innocent lives. The brave officers thus can be said to be completely justified in ending Nahel’s rampage at gunpoint.

Rioters rammed a car into the home of a mayor in southern Paris before setting it on fire while his wife and children were sleeping.
Protesters chased Melanie Nowak and her two children behind the house and into the garden as the family tried to escape, in the latest example of fierce violence gripping France.
The mother suffered a serious leg fracture after trying to push her children over the wall that separates her garden from her neighbour’s backyard and was recovering in hospital on Sunday morning. One of the children was also injured.
Vincent Jeanbrun, the mayor of L’Haÿ-les-Roses, a suburb south of Paris, said the attack on his family was an “assassination attempt”.
“Last night, a milestone was reached in horror and ignominy,” said Mr Jeanbrun, who is also the spokesman for the conservative Republican party.

Sounds perilously like the growing problem in American urban areas. Note the common elements, in which the Media are prominent in their anti-police distortions of fact.
It seems, despite freedom of speech, the freedom to spread inflammatory lies needs to be curbed. I know, censorship is a perilous path, a minefield for Liberty to traverse, but either the Media should be held to task for repeating falsehoods and distortions that lead to massive civil unrest, or alternate sources need to be promoted.

Difference is that you have a much higher percentage of true rioters in France. Most black Americans don't want rioting. But for a lot of the Muslims in Europe, this is a shot to redo the verdicts of Tours and Vienna.

The chief of The Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF, Movement of French Businesses) Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux says hundreds of his members have been attacked over the course of the last week’s rioting, including 200 shops, 300 bank branches, and 250 tobacconists, which appear to have been a particular target for looting in many cities.
While the exact cost of these rioter-set fires and looting raids is not yet known, the running total so far is already “more than a billion Euros”, Bézieux tells Le Parisien. Not yet calculated as compounding that cost, the business confederation boss said, was the fact the frightening footage of rioting has been broadcasted around the world which will damage France’s reputation as a tourist destination.

PARIS — Following the death of a young immigrant at the hands of a baguette-wielding police officer, France has entered its sixth day of chaos as rival protesters keep trying to surrender to each other.
Over 3,000 protestors have surrendered to police, who have in turn surrendered back. The government deployed more than 45,000 police and gendarmes to surrender across France following the violent public acquiescence.
There is no sign the blatant capitulation will stop anytime soon.
"The violence and disorder of surrendering mobs are unbearable," said French President Emmanuel Macron while waving a white flag and holding up a treaty allowing the protesters to have the entire region of Normandy. "There is so much unrest no one even knows who to surrender to." ...

This is a little hysterical. Shutting down social media clearly is not the same thing as cutting off all reporting and communications. Reporting and communications obviously existed long before social media.
I don't like Macron, but he didn't say anything about shutting down the news media, or emails, or private publishers, or anything of the sort. Just social media.

Even if they do deport them it doesn't mean a damn thing as long as France is an EU kneeler, these POSs will just come back and start it all up again with the added excuse of being deported.
