Connecticut governor displays Haitian flag at residence
By Julia Manchester - 01/12/18 06:23 PM EST

Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy (D) flew the Haitian flag at the governor's residence on Friday, one day after President Trump reportedly referred to Haiti and other African nations as "shithole countries."

Friday is also the eight-year anniversary of a deadly earthquake in the country.

"The US is a nation of immigrants who originate from countries throughout the world. We should celebrate this diversity, not denigrate and shame it," Malloy said in a tweet.

So is this a comment on his state? Should we reject immigrants from Connecticut?

Perhaps Malloy should concentrate on his state’s budget problems

Hills is getting hammered on Twitter for her Haiti post. Considering this brain trust probably endorsed her, he is flying that flag with an extreme lack of self awareness.

Maybe we can arrange for the virtue-signaling Gov Malloy to spend a pleasant month or two in Port Au Prince.  And live with the common folk....without armed guards.
