My Lord, what rock do you folks crawl out from under?

SO you would have no problem with an unlicensed/untrained ultrasound person doing an ultrasound on your wife's possible breast cancer diagnosis or a lump in your child  stomach or a lump on your right testicle?

People every day are thrown in jail for performing medical treatments without  a license and they should be.

Those two yahoo farmers were told to stop and they didn't is why their arses were thrown in jail.
These are cows, not someone's wife or child. It's not a medical "treatment."  The "yahoo farmers" (oh, the condescension) weren't treating human beings or even cows for cancer. Why bring up breast cancer - and presume that's what the poster referenced - when all we're talking about is inseminating cattle?

Nightmarish MS-13 Gangbanger Caught In New Orleans After Prior Deportation

May 2, 2024

U.S. Border Patrol

A known MS-13 gang member with hideous facial tattoos was caught back in the United States after being deported at least once, authorities say.

On Wednesday, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) Chief Jason Owens announced the arrest of the Salvadoran illegal alien this week in Louisiana.

“USBP agents in New Orleans, LA conducted a vehicle stop & arrested an MS-13 gang member, Lorenzo Alexander Benitez, from El Salvador” on Monday, Chief Owens wrote on social media.

He shared a photograph of Benitez, whose face is almost entirely covered in nightmarish ink.

I very much like True Launch Bar if it is still around. Can organize files/folders/apps very cleanly with minimal clicks to get there.

With Windows you can "pin" an app to the taskbar, makes launching minimal, just need to right click and "pin". I'm sure Linux has the same thing.

At least with Linux, if you don’t like the default GUI, you can always swap in another or even try writing your own.

Actually with Windows you can install programs that change the GUI, I remember experimenting with 3d guis back in the 90's. Not that they were that great.

If the majority of Americans agree on something, you may want to pause and learn more. If almost 90% of Americans agree, that’s a gamechanger. When it comes to border security and immigration, Americans are much more united than you might think.

A new poll commissioned by Americans for Prosperity, where I’m an advisor on border security, reveals 87% of Americans say they would like to see immigration policy that:

Secures our borders and ports,
Increases American competitiveness within the global economy,
Establishes clear and predictable rules for our immigration system, and,
Increases the transparency and accountability in our enforcement processes.

Iowa will face lawsuit if it acts on immigration law, DOJ warns

BY FILIP TIMOTIJA THEHILL.COM
UPDATED MAY 04, 2024 6:04 AM

The Department of Justice (DOJ) warned Iowa on Friday that the state will face a lawsuit if it implements an immigration law that forbids people from being in the state if they were previously denied entry into the United States.

The DOJ informed Iowa's top state officials, Gov. Kim Reynolds and the state Attorney General Brenna Bird, that it intends to sue The Hawkeye State by May 7 if it enforces SF 2340, a bill that makes it a crime for a person to be in Iowa if they were previously removed from the U.S. or have outstanding deportation orders.

Reynolds said the law will be enforced since it is her "duty" to protect Iowa residents. "The only reason we had to pass this law is because the Biden Administration refuses to enforce the laws already on the books," Reynolds said in a Friday post on social media platform X. "I have a duty to protect the citizens of Iowa. Unlike the federal government, we will respect the rule of law and enforce it."

Video translation is as follows:

A drug tunnel dug by hand, measuring the right size in length, to cross drugs and undocumented immigrants under the border wall of Sonora and Arizona to the United States was discovered by agents of the Attorney General's Office in the border region of San Luis Río Colorado.

According to the authorities, the drug tunnel was located on May 1 when agents of the state public security police in coordination with the United States border patrol were conducting a tour of the San Luis Rio Colorado border wall.

The middle passageway is less than 5 meters in length. The approximate distance to cross under the steel border wall built in the Sonoran Desert. An area that is currently being disputed by factions of the Sinaloa Cartel for the transfer of drugs, weapons, money, and undocumented immigrants. The authorities didn’t report any arrests or drug seizures after the discovery of this clandestine passage.

'Stop the invasion': Migrant flights in battleground state ignite bipartisan backlash from lawmakers
A sheriff told Fox News Digital that Wednesday was just 'one of many instances' where migrants have come to Montana seeking asylum

140 migrants indicted in Texas over alleged border breach
El Paso District Attorney Bill Hicks joins 'America's Newsroom' to discuss his efforts to prosecute the migrants on misdemeanor charges after a judge had thrown the cases out.

Democrat and Republican lawmakers in a crucial battleground state are "deeply troubled" after a group of illegal immigrants were flown to the Big Sky Country on a late night flight.

Five migrants, reportedly from Venezuela, were flown from New York to Kalispell, Montana Wednesday night into Glacier Park International Airport, Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino confirmed to Fox News Digital. The migrants were reportedly dropped off and eventually provided housing in the city, but Heino said it was just "one of many instances."

"The only way an illegal immigrant from South America ends up in Montana is if a ‘nonprofit’ connected with the Biden Administration moves them there," said Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., said in a press release, referring to Valley Neighbors, the local nonprofit that picked up the migrants who were flown into the state.

"Montana law enforcement, schools, hospitals and safety nets are being stressed to their max because of the Biden border crisis," said Zinke, who represents the district covering Flathead. "It’s unacceptable and absolutely needs to end now."
