Inflation will "stabilize" means stuff gets more expensive at a less variable rate.

Correct.  Inflation will "stabilize" at 7% per annum.  And she thinks that's a good thing.

The only scenario I can imagine here is Shortbus Joe is intending to send stuff to Hamas, and screw the civilians.  Hamas is converting the stolen aid into cash by creating a black market, forcing the rest of the people to spend what little they have.

They are killing their own people, as they have for the past 80 years.

Oakland Can't Won't Stop Traffic Light Theft

She'll be facing recall in November, but Alameda County's DA is uninterested in prosecuting crime.

Oakland City Council had members who are police-haters, and officers who do their jobs "too well" do so at the risk of their careers and manner of life.

The Mayor of the City of Oakland is an Olympic-class Egyptian-River-swimmer where crime is concerned.

This is the culmination of decades of political stupidity.

I was hoping this was a story about Rob Reiner, but then I noticed the part about a gym...

A Helicopter Crashes, and an Opportunity is Missed
By John F. Di Leo

“My condolences.”

“I’m so sorry for your loss.”

“My sympathies.”

“May he rest in peace.”

Raised as we are in Western civilization, we have an instinctive response when we hear of someone’s death, whether by natural causes, by accident, or even by murder.  We think first of his or her family and friends, we naturally empathize with their sorrow, and we wish them these words and more, heartfelt and seriously.

We would be sad if a loved one died, and we assume that everyone must have loved ones. Our sympathy is automatic.

One wouldn’t think this would be a problem, but in politics, and therefore in the press as well, it can be – because there are people who have no loved ones, and with good reason; there are people who will not, and more importantly should not, be missed.

Don't cry wolf. The quarantine of the poultry farm in Oz is a quarantine of the birds, standard procedure.

FWIW, Victoria is Australia's smallest state (ignoring their equivalent of our DC). It's located in southeast Australia, and the one major city (and port) is Melbourne. Across Bass Strait is the island of Tasmania.

No, he didn't.

Even Snopes has acknowledged/admitted that Trump did not say that or post it to Truth Social, https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/unified-reich-trump/ . It was a creation of a third party posted to Trump's Truth Social account by a careless staffer.

1.) Increased cost of energy
2.) Increased cost of labor
3.) Increased cost of Government regulation
4.) Increased cost of transportation
5.) Increased cost of shelter
6.) Increased cost of higher education
7.) Increased cost of medical care
8.) Increased cost of higher taxes
9.) Increased cost of imports

Bidenomics does nothing to solve any of these, and makes some worse.
Increase 1, 3, and 4, and all else gets more expensive.
