Anyone who purchases a stock with a PE of 25+ is an idiot and I don't care who is hawking what.

Even noticed Fisher's trending neutral.  That tells me a bit right there.

I have been hearing this doom and gloom predictions for 35 years. After the 2008 crash, pundits said it would take 20 years to get back to where it was because art the time many investors were new a first time investors nd pundits said after they got burned they would never come back to the market .
There was a an article recently that millennials and gen z are getting or planning to get in the market because they know SS will not be around for them or the benefit will be cut
I survived 1987, the dot com crash, housing boom crash and the Biden crash. ( oh wait that never happened)

The world is now a investing more and more in the US. Would you  invest to  China, Russia,  western Europe that is dying due to negative birth rates

I hope your silly ass is here when it happens. I'm guessing I've done this a tad longer than you have, and understand the needs of full diversification, so that you don't lose under any scenario.

In your case, keep throwing your cash blindly into equities and hope for the best.

Dem Rep. Phillips: We Should Cancel Dem Convention, Things ‘Looking Awfully Like 1968’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) argued that “it would be in the best interests of the Democratic Party to forego the convention this year and focus on campaigning” and argued that things are “looking awfully like 1968” and this could also bleed over to the convention.

Phillips stated, [relevant remarks begin around 4:50] “I think that President Biden has done a very good job of supporting our ally and friend Israel. I think he made a misstep, of course, last week, withholding some arms shipments. But I’m very pleased with his support. Clearly, young progressives are dismayed, and, frankly, I think now, the President has kind of offended those on both sides of this issue. But, he can recapture that. I do believe he’s principled in his support for Israel. But I’m afraid that this is looking awfully like 1968 with a lot of anger and angst and disenfranchisement that I think are going to play out on TV this summer, and it’s going to be awfully contentious. So, there’s time to course correct.”

Host Bret Baier then cut in to ask, “1968 was in Chicago, the Democratic Convention. Do you think it could look a little like that?”

Phillips answered, “I think it can, and frankly, I think it would be in the best interests of the Democratic Party to forego the convention this year and focus on campaigning. Because I don’t see any way it can be accretive to the mission of winning the next election.”

World News / Re: Ukraine 4

Ukraine has attacked Belbek Air Base to nights in a row. It is relatively close to the front line, and taking out the S-400 system punched a hole in the orcs' SAM network (which hasn't exactly been covering itself with glory). Looks like Ukraine may already be taking advantage of the hole they punched.

As much as I admire Charles Payne, I can not believe he is still hawking this bull market.  The old axiom of Buy Low, Sell High has escaped the punditry's concept of reality.

:

So the guy is Slovak, not Ukrainian, and his motivation was Slovak domestic politics, not Russia vs. Ukraine.

Good to hear.  Sure don't need a repeat of World War 1.

Fool's gold X 4

This market is approaching 75% oversold.   When it crashes, expect 15K + or -.  based on reasonable Market Caps and P/E ratios.

I have been hearing these doom and gloom predictions for 35 years. After the 2008 crash, pundits said it would take 20 years to get back to where it was because at the time many investors were new , first time investors and pundits said after they got burned they would never come back to the market .
There was a an article recently that millennials and gen z are getting or planning to get in the market and n huge numbers because they know SS will not be around for them or the benefit will be cut  These young folks are educated savy and making big salaries.

I survived 1987, the dot com crash, housing boom crash and the Biden crash. ( oh wait that never happened)

The world is now a investing more and more in the US. Would you  invest to  China, Russia,  western Europe that is dying due to negative birth rates

I expect another major correction or two before I get planted

Biden would be able to litigate that issue through the courts, and there's no way it would be resolved before the election.   Him asserting executive privilege essentially kills any chance those tapes will come out before the election, or that anyone can be prosecuted for not producing them.
