Democrats: Speed-date for Obamacare

First they seized on Thanksgiving, then Christmas dinner, and now Democrats and progressives want Valentine's Day to be about Obamacare.
Washington’s Network for Progress is hosting a mixer and speed date night for “Hope Mongers” this week to raise money for the organization that is helping Americans sign up for Obamacare.
“Please join Network For Progress, a social and media-savvy Community, Advocate and Resource for political and civic engagement, for a Social Progress event for Valentine's Day: Hearts for Hearts' Progressive Mixer & Speed Date Night for single Progressives, Democrats and other Hope Mongers' to mingle for fun and a good cause!,” said the group's Facebook page.

Tickets to the Wednesday meet-and-donate event cost $10-$15 and half will be donated to Enroll America. The bar is extra: $2 Coors Light bottles, $3 Blue Moons. Romance wasn't mentioned.
On its Eventbrite page, Network For Progress describes itself as part of the “Yes We Can” movement sprouting from the president's 2008 election. It plans to use social media to eliminate the post-election “vacuum” that was “filled by Tea Party/Fox News' coordinated activism and only recently has been valiantly promoted by Jon Stewart's quest for Sanity.' ”
It urges supporters “to become our own ‘Obama.' ”
