Unforced error.

A costly one when you already know what the Rats will do with it.

Of course they will

Biden is a very unpopular president that is in trouble and his people know it. They’ll use whatever comes their way.

If Republicans want to start winning elections again, they’re gonna have to first find a way to separate themselves from Trump and his unpopular MAGA movement for starters. If they don’t, 2024 will just be a carbon copy of 2022

Baloney. The more he triggers the left with this stuff, the more they overreact and expose themselves. It is an effective strategy that has worked for him since he started. The man has been more successful than any GOP politician since Reagan. I may not like him much, but I can see that it works, and I kinda understand why it works.

The fact that Trump has been successful with this marketing strategy says more about us as a society than it does about him.

The Republican party has been on a losing streak since he squeezed out his lucky win in 2016.  His triggering the left seems to have worked out pretty well for them(the left)

From the article…

He added that Trump will surround himself with the “bottom of the barrel” and that those individuals will carry out whatever orders they are given.

I think he will try. Whether he succeeds or not remains to be seen, should he win.

Those of us who want to see the federal government’s overreach  reduced  are out of luck this election

But this is death by a 1000 cuts. If you include things like “dictator for a day,”  referring to his opponents as vermin, using the phrase “poisoning our blood,” having a Holocaust denier at Mar a Lago, and his admiration for dictators, he is giving the Biden campaign and Democrats plenty of fodder for their campaign commercials that you will certainly see this fall

I was inside the court when the judge closed the Trump trial, and what I saw shocked me

I have observed and participated in trials throughout the world. I have seen justice and injustice in China, Russia, Ukraine, England, France, Italy, Israel, as well as in nearly 40 of our 50 states.

But in my 60 years as a lawyer and law professor, I have never seen a spectacle such as the one I observed sitting in the front row of the courthouse yesterday.

Alan Dershowitz was allowed to stay in the courtroom during former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial while Judge Juan Merchan scolded witness Robert Costello. Steven Hirsch

Many experienced lawyers raised their eyebrows when the judge excluded obviously relevant evidence when offered by the defense, while including irrelevant evidence offered by the prosecution.

But when the defense’s only substantive witness, the experienced attorney Robert Costello, raised his eyebrows at one of New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan’s rulings, the court went berserk.

The judge in Donald Trump’s trial was an absolute tyrant, though he appeared to the jury to be a benevolent despot. He seemed automatically to be ruling against the defendant at every turn.

Lake is now trailing Gallego by 5 points.

Most places are calling this a toss-up tilt blue.

Just perfect.

CBS now has Gallego by 13.  I don't know if these grandpas think she's hot ... whatever their reasoning, they are about to make a colossal screw-up in the primary.

National/Breaking News / Re: Drinking Water Warning Issued Nationwide

I recall the argument back then...that rainwater collected on your own property is NOT yours to keep.

...something to do with "water rights", etc..  A barrel of rainwater becomes a pond; becomes a lake.

Haven't heard of the law ever being enforced, however.

They're trying the same thing out here using 'native' water rights to supersede legal water rights... First nation rights (they were here first) supersede everything...

But out here, dumbass laws are summarily ignored.
It's a Western thing.

I know. They keep reminding me it isn't supported and I must upgrade. For our purposes, though, and for the time being, here we'll stay.

Used Win10 boxen, easily 10x the power of a win7 era machine, are all over the place for fifty bucks or less.

Jussayin.
