Franken Calls for Special Prosecutor: 'Need to See' Trump's Tax Returns
(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is not immediately calling for Attorney General Jeff Sessions' resignation following a Washington Post report [1] that Sessions, while serving as a Trump campaign adviser, failed to disclose his two contacts with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.
Instead, Franken wants Sessions to recuse himself from all Russia-Trump investigations; he wants the investigation turned over to an independent prosecutor; and he very much wants a look at Donald Trump's tax returns.
Speaking to MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday, Franken said Sessions was inaccurate when he told Franken at his Jan. 10 confirmation hearing, "I did not have communications with the Russians."
Sessions met with the Russian ambassador once in September in his Senate office; and he spoke to the same ambassador (and others) in July, at an event sponsored by the Heritage Foundation.

The administration needs to counter what looks to be nonstop obstructionist BS with a PR strategy of their own - something along the lines of the democrats caring more about politics than the problems facing the country.
Anything other than simply reacting to it.

Minnesota. One clown, one Muslim....interesting representation.
-
Yep, Al let's make your party even more irrelevant.

You mean.... the WH should go on the offensive?
That's exactly what the rabid left (and Trump haters) are waiting ....(more like salivating) for Trump to do. That's why the constant, 24/7 attacks. It's called provocation. They know that Trump can't (or couldn't previously during the primary and campaign) resist rising to the occasion to lash back. They are hoping that he will fight back and go all nuclear on their asses. Then they can point and claim proof and continue to call him fascist and many other terms that paint him as yet another guy with a funny little mustache (no, not Groucho).
It's a trap, IOW. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

Just another distraction, at this point. Maybe they should have asked when Hillary's could have been compared...
I think the Cloward-Piven* assault is on, trying to disable the administration.
Overload the resources with BS to the point the system can't possibly function.

Actually, it is traditional for presidents to release tax returns, in the interest of complete transparency. I think Trump should follow tradition.
-
If anyone doesn't see that the left is on nothing more than a continual liberal with hunt to take our President and his cabinet down, either they're blind or one of the DEMS.

Get to the root of the matter. Declassify every document that has been leaked. Release them all.
-
They already know full-well, what's in the tax returns.
But they can't 'leak' that...otherwise they're screwed.
