Yeah, I don't think this will go over well in his district.  Bowman has a primary challenger.

If biden can "grant" it, Mr. Trump can revoke it.

Walmart launches its largest private grocery brand in decades
Private brands have been gaining market share from national brands, Circana reported

By Daniella Genovese FOXBusiness

Walmart announced Tuesday that it is launching its largest private food brand in decades to lure in more cost-conscious shoppers.

The brand, Bettergoods, will encompass 300 items including frozen, dairy, snacks, beverages, pasta, soups, coffee and chocolate, the Arkansas-based retailer said.

All the items will cost between $2 and $15; "most products" will be priced under $5, Walmart said.

To set itself apart, Walmart touted that Bettergoods isn't a direct alternative to national brand offerings but rather "unique" to Walmart, including specialty salts and seasonings, like Hot Honey Seasoning, or jar soups, including our Creamy Corn Jalapeno Chowder.

The company already has two private labels, Great Value and Equate, which are lower-cost alternatives to national brand products.

Who knows.  At any rate this isn't good.  We need to hang on to our conservative majorities.  They have accomplished a lot. My concern is with the influx of those who have moved to the state, the GOP may lose some seats.
C'mon Debbie Downer.  You need to take some time away from the newsfeeds.  The FL DP is in deep dodo.  Nikki Fried is a joke. She is full of more shit than a Christmas Goose.  They have one plank to stand on...abortion.  And that ranks number 7 or8 on the list of top concerns with Floridians.  The majority of FL women are in or entering menopause!

She may have left the Democrat party

But she still holds her left-wing views

I can handle left wing views - Classic liberalism is akin to Conservatism, in the same vein that big 'L' libertarians are akin to true libertarians. There are positions on the left worth defending, if only there were any left leaning liberals left with the integrity to defend them.

The ‘Biden bump’ that didn’t last long

THE ‘BIDEN BUMP’ THAT DIDN’T LAST LONG. “The election is clearly changing now, moving towards Biden,” the influential Democratic strategist Simon Rosenberg declared on March 26. “The Biden bump is real.” For Republicans, Rosenberg is someone worth listening to. He was right about the nonexistent “red wave” that many in the GOP expected back in 2022. When he said the election was moving, it was worth noting.

Now, though, the situation is a little more complicated. Ever since President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on March 7, the one in which he appeared to shout much of the time to prove his vigor, Democrats have been hoping for a Biden surge. A lot of that was just wish-casting. It simply did not make sense to many Democrats that former President Donald Trump could be under four indictments, and starting trial in one case, and still be leading Biden. It just seemed too crazy to accept. But it was true.

Then, in late March and early April, Biden did rise a bit in the polls. According to the RealClearPolitics average of national polls, Trump has led Biden in head-to-head matchups since September 2023. (They were tied for one brief moment in October.) During his March-April “bump,” Biden’s deficit shrank, coming within two-tenths of a point of catching Trump. Democratic hopes rose.

“Biden’s position in the polls is improving against Trump,” declared the polling analyst Nate Silver on April 18. “It looks to me like Biden’s numbers against Trump have improved by a hair, probably to a degree that isn’t just statistical noise.” Even a slight improvement was like manna from heaven for Democrats and their allies in the media.

Trump’s vice presidential pick won’t matter

Journalists and commentators were looking forward to the boost in clicks and views that typically accompanies a robust presidential primary. But since the Republican primary was over before it began, and the media’s beloved Democrats are now making a mess of both domestic and foreign policy, many in the commentariat are spending a lot of time speculating about who former President Donald Trump will select as his running mate.

After Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) nuked her veepstakes odds with the bizarre decision to prove her toughness by bragging about shooting a puppy with a 12-gauge, North Dakota governor and former sort-of presidential candidate Doug Burgum emerged as a top choice. Other names such as Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), perpetual Arizona candidate Kari Lake, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard have also been floated by “sources,” but Trump’s vice presidential pick likely won’t matter one way or the other.

The 2024 presidential election is not complicated. If President Joe Biden’s team and its friends in the press can shift the focus to Trump’s legal battles and somehow convince the electorate that Jan. 6 was worse than Pearl Harbor, Biden will win. If the focus is kept on Biden’s age, mental decline, outrageous family corruption, and disastrous economic and foreign policy, The Donald will join President Grover Cleveland in the history books.

The book has been thoroughly written on Biden and Trump. They both have been public figures for most of their extremely long adult lives, and very few people are without a strong opinion on both men.

It’d be funny if we didn’t know that this would just lead to more government dependency by more people.
