Despite Intense Aug. Heat — Alien Families, Minors Cross Border in Dramatic Numbers

Despite the intense summer heat, thousands of illegal alien minors and families risked their lives to illegally cross the U.S. border with Mexico in August.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials reported this week that the apprehension of Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) and Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) rose by 37 and 20 percent respectively. These numbers represent the fourth straight month of dramatic increases for these two categories of illegal immigration.

Big increase in apprehensions. That means Americans who want better results on the borders, on limiting illegal immigration, are getting what they want.

A Trump win. A loss for cheap labor advocates.

How does this jibe with the 70%(I think?) reduction in border crossings?

Intense August heat that I'm sure is no more intense than any other year, but we got to plant our global warming seed and proselytize the religion.

All the more reason to justify a solid border barrier.

Heat doesn't discourage the border jumpers.
But unless they can "jump" a 25 foot high wall, they're stuck.
