Activists Demand ‘$200 Million for Each and Every African American’ in California

Reparations for black residents in California are forecasted to cost $800 billion — more than twice the cost of the state’s entire annual budget, but activists say that is not enough.

Last night, the task force approved recommendations for reparation payments, which are due to the state legislature by July 1, Breitbart reported. The nine-member task force called on lawmakers to make a formal apology for slavery and also requested that those eligible will receive “cash down payments.” The task force was assembled two years ago following George Floyd being killed by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. California was the first state to assemble a reparations task force.

If passed, a black resident, older than 71, would be eligible to receive more than $1.2 million in reparations, as reported by Fox.

But during last night’s meeting, an activist known as Rev. Tony Pierce called out the task force for being fearful of getting the black community what they really deserve.

CA Reparations task force member tells white folks to ‘chill out and pay your ‘sin bill’
May 24, 2023 | Vivek Saxena

A member of both California State’s reparations ask force and San Francisco’s reparations advisory committee says it’s on every white American to pay their “sin bill.”

Dr. Amos Brown of the Third Baptist Church made the divisive remarks to Fox News while arguing why even the white residents of San Francisco, where slavery was always illegal, are obligated to pay their fair share of the reparations “sin bill.”

“Unfortunately, that evil group called the Ku Klux Klux in California was founded here in San Francisco. So San Francisco’s hands are not clean. They have been complicit in this evil system, and all we’re saying is let’s just chill and pay your debt, your sin bill of enslavement, of discrimination, of intimidation, of terrorizing of black people,” he said.

I have no debt, not to you, not to anyone else, based solely on the color of your skin, or what other people may have done to your ancestors.

So, GFY.

Not that this aspiring thief's "argument" is otherwise persuasive, but that fact of the matter is that the KKK was founded on December 24, 1865 in Pulaski, Tennessee.

1. I never owned slaves.

2. California was never a slave state.

3. California, though a new, sparsely populated, and distant state, sent one or more volunteer units to fight on the Union side.

4. Half of my ancestry was on another continent until after the turn of the 20th Century. The other half lived in northern states, where at least some fought in the Union army or as volunteers to fight off Confederate cavalry raids ( https://ohiohistorycentral.org/w/Squirrel_Hunters?rec=635 ).

5. Schools in the rural county in which I grew up were integrated at least a century ago, when my parents were students, and probably were never segregated or non-whites excluded.

This Californian - like most - owes no "sin bill" for slavery. Ignorant racist and race-baiter Dr. Amos Brown can bleep off!

In 2021, the Equal Justice Institute celebrated a settlement with the University of California in which the system agreed to stop using SAT and ACT test scores, objective merit-based metrics, in college admissions, until 2025. The racialist lawsuit claimed that test scores violate the California Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause as “indicators” of race.

The “SAT is a barrier to equal opportunity”, Lisa Holder, a counsel with the Equal Opportunity Institute, claimed.

Like a lot of destructive leftist activists, Lisa Holder received a Soros Justice Fellowship from the radical billionaire’s Open Society Foundation. The similarity in the names of the Equal Justice Society and Soros’ Open Society Foundation is more than strictly coincidental as Soros was one of the EJS’ founding donors.

Beyond drawing six figures in compensation from the Equal Justice Society, Lisa Holder has her own law practice that focuses on racial issues and occasionally draws a check for teaching at UCLA.

Holder is also a member of California’s Reparations Task Force which has proposed to bankrupt the state and its taxpayers with as much as $800 billion in racial reparations in a state that was never a slave state.  ...

This comes as a complete surprise to no one.

@rangerrebew

If there is ANYONE in America that needs to fear "getting what they REALLY deserve",it is the black community, and most especially their alleged "leadership",starting with the "Rev-Runs" and working their way up to their elected officials.
