S.D. Gov. Noem Signs Executive Order Banning TikTok on State-Owned Devices
Amid the growing number of lawmakers expressing national security concerns over the Communist Chinese-owned social media app TikTok, Republican Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem signed an executive order banning its use on state devices.
On Nov. 29, Gov. Noem signed Executive Order 2022-10, banning the use of TikTok by state employees, agencies, and contractors using state-owned electronic devices.
“This order is in response to the growing national security threat posed by TikTok due to its data gathering operations on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP),” reads a Nov. 29 press release. .............

Good idea.
-
I like Noem and think she would make a good President, but on the other hand we need as many conservative governors in place as possible.

Very good.
She not only acknowledges the problem, but did something about it.
Hopefully, that will help make others aware as well.
