Zelensky Thanks Biden for ‘Another $725 Million Security Aid Package’
Jack Montgomery 15 Oct 2022
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has personally thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for supplying Kyiv with another “security aid package” worth $725 million.
“Sincerely grateful to [the President of the United States and] the [American] people for providing another $725 mln security aid package,” the Ukrainian head of state said in a message posted on the Twitter microblogging site.
“We will receive, in particular, much-needed rounds for HIMARS and artillery,” he added.
“A wonderful gift for [Ukrainian] Defenders’ Day! The Russian aggressor will be defeated, [Ukraine] will be free!”

Wow. A security aid package that actually includes military aid? Notice how Zelenskiy exclusively remarks on these. Hopefully, the entirety of the package was for weaponry and not graft for the State Department, USAID, Justice Dept, Defense Dept, NATO, the IMF, etc.

Much of that $750MM will magically find its way back to the pockets of the appropriators! Guaranteed!

That's unfortunate. This war could be over by Spring with the complete destruction of the Russian army, removing them as a threat on the world stage for decades to come. Instead, we have complete idiots in charge who see this only as an opportunity to enrich themselves and consolidate their political power.
Zelenskiy has made no secret of his desire for the military hardware needed to drive Russia out of his country. It must be frustrating for anyone in Ukraine to see the US broadcast to the world these massive aid packages, and then to see that money go everywhere except for hardware needed to defeat the fascist invaders.

Don't thank Joe. Thank me, VZ.

Instead of posting the same graphics over and over again, why not post something that Zelenskiy actually said?

This new security assistance package includes:
- Additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS)
- 23,000 155mm artillery rounds
- 500 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds
- 5,000 155mm rounds of Remote Anti-Armor Mine (RAAM) Systems
- 5,000 anti-tank weapons
- High-speed Anti-radiation missiles (HARMs)
- More than 200 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs)
- Small arms and more than 2,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition
- Medical supplies.

This is also a drawdown of previously announced aid. This way, Biden looks like he gave out twice the aid that he actually gave. And $725 in actual military equipment is a drop in the bucket compared to the tens billions in cash handed out to the grifters.

Below is a sampling of Zelensky's demands.

President Volodymyr Zelensky's top economic adviser claimed that Ukraine now requires $9 billion per month from its Western backers.
Oleg Ustenko says the new figure is needed to plug the Ukrainian government's budget shortfall, as well as provide emergency shelter for refugees and housing repairs and a basic minimum income for those who have lost their jobs, according to the Financial Times.

April 22 - 176 days ago. Zelenskiy addresses the IMF and the World Bank, which last time I checked wasn't the US.
July 13 - 94 days ago. Statement made by Oleg Ustenko, who last time I checked wasn't Zelenskiy.

Defend him against what, exactly? I would first need to know what it is that he has done wrong. And posting 3-month-old statements by Oleg Ustenko doesn't exactly tell us, nor does posting 1.6 second video clips where Zelenskiy's actual words are dubbed over.
So how about you coming up with something legitimate, and more importantly, truthful first.
