FEMA boss says storms like Kentucky tornadoes feared to have killed more than 100 will be the 'new normal' because of climate change and calls it 'the crisis of our generation'

FEMA chief Deanne Criswell blamed Kentucky tornadoes on climate change
'This is going to be our new normal,' she said of worse extreme weather
Biden has made similar remarks suggesting climate change is to blame
Scientists stress impact of climate change on specific storms is hard to gauge
But tornadoes appear to be moving further east from traditional 'tornado alley'
Tornadoes in December are also unusual, but not unheard of

The top US emergency management official has claimed that more powerful, destructive, and deadly storms will be the 'new normal' due to climate change, following Kentucky's devastating tornadoes.

'This is going to be our new normal,' Deanne Criswell, head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, told CNN Sunday before heading to Kentucky to assess the damage and help coordinate the federal response.

'The effects that we're seeing from climate change are the crisis of our generation,' the FEMA chief added.

maybe dumbass should take a minute on google instead of spouting global warming propaganda with the intent to inspire fear in the population.

It seems that the old normal trumps their new normal Bolshevik. https://www.weather.gov/lmk/violent_tornadoes_kentucky

Bear in mind this article is only for Kentucky tornadoes and only to 2012. It's despicable that supposedly knowledgeable people responsible for planning and providing aid to Americans after disasters live in fantasyland and spout propaganda to promote and unproven agenda.

I wasn't aware that Deanne Criswell had a degree in climatology.

And the only way to fix it is to raise taxes on working people and give the money to her left-wing grifter friends.

The 1925 twister here in Kentucky stayed on the ground for 219 miles.  Was that a result of "climate change" as well?

New normal, again? But we haven't even settled into the old new normal.
