McCain: Partisanship In DC Is Worst He Has Seen
WASHINGTON (AP) — Staring at the specter of a partial government shutdown, Sen. John McCain says he’s never seen anything like the harsh partisanship pervading much of Washington politics.
The Arizona Republican, serving his fifth term, says “we are dividing the Republican Party rather than attacking Democrats.”

Maybe it has something to do with the country figuring out what happens when we move in the wrong direction a half step at a time instead of a whole step at a time

John McCain from 04/2010-
"Look, when I was fighting against my own president, whether we needed more troops in Iraq, or ... spending was completely out of control, then I was a maverick. Now that I'm fighting against this spending administration and this out-of-control and reckless health care plan, then I'm a partisan."

Well then quit lining up with the rats.

Common sense will tell you more partisanship is not bad it just means the government leaders in power are being kept in line and not allowed to walk all over us. Personally I don't think there is enough in the Congress we have now. The government we have now has turned into a dictatorship.

I'm surprised a senile lunatic like McLame can remember what he has seen. :woohoo:
-
Nonpartisanship means neutral, and got us into the mess. Partisan leadership by the republicans, particularly conservative republicans will get is out of this calamity.

Well then quit lining up with the rats.
THAT'S never going to happen! He's one of them!

THAT'S never going to happen! He's one of them!
He'll find out when his usefulness is over, he'll be treated like Cindy Sheehan and will be shunned until the next time they need a useful idiot. under the bus888

Sad but true.

Here is a thought, senator. Rather than divide the GOP, let's just adopt your strategy of giving the Democrats everything they want.
-
In a way he's correct. It's the intransigent political agendas of the democrats, which will brook no compromise and no questions, that is causing such severe partisanship. If Mr. McCain wishes to reduce that partisanship, then perhaps he ought to stop encouraging and emboldening the democrats. But, unfortunately, he's apparently too stupid and too senile to grasp reality anymore.
