That sounds like it will be a blast!  I used to hit the Renaissance Festival every year when I lived near Phoenix.  It runs for six weekends starting in February, and it was very large and well attended.  Great exhibits and a tonne of vendors.

Went to the Renaissance Festival a couple of times (just over the NY state border) starting in the mid-80s...
