Title: Jeff Bezos's bargain divorce: Amazon founder's wife Mackenzie settles for just 25% of their $144B.

* MacKenzie will keep a four percent stake in Amazon as opposed to eight percent

* Her shares are worth around $36 billion but are half what she could have received

* It allows Jeff, who now owns 12 percent of the company, to keep his title as world's richest man

* He is now worth around $100billion which is still $4billion richer than Bill Gates

* The pair offered no explanation for why they divided their shares that way as they announced the settlement on Twitter

* There was also no mention of Bezos' girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez

* It was the revelation of their affair which brought the Bezos to announce the end of their marriage in January

She may have just wanted out, and $36 billion should keep her fed and sheltered for a good long while.
