During the same time period, Obama was too busy to meet with his jobs council.*
The Obama administration’s handling of the IRS scandal is essentially one huge bet that Americans will believe whatever they’re told — even if it’s obviously not true to anyone who looks at the facts. For example, the current story is that Obama’s staff knew about the IRS scandal for weeks, but he didn’t.
Now, we’ve found out that the former IRS chief personally met with Obama 100+ times during the time that the IRS was targeting Tea Party and libertarian/conservative groups. During this time, the former IRS chief claims he “absolutely” never told Obama about the attack on the Tea Party.

Having watched the hearing today, I understood that Shulman made 118 visits to the White House. Three of which were with Obama in 2010, 2011 timeframe. I would guess the rest were with staff; ie valerie jarrett

All I know is the guy is a terrible liar. Seems he is more afraid of the administration than having perjury charges against him.

He seems uninterested in meetings relating to the economy or national defense, but give him a juicy crackdown on free speech, and he's all over it.
