Stormy Daniels takes the stand

Wearing all black, Stormy Daniels just took the witness stand.

Like all other witnesses at the trial, she walked into the room through a side door, and behind the defense table.

Trump looked forward, then turned his head to the right as Daniels walked by.

Daniels did not appear to make eye contact with Trump as she took her seat.

Stormy Daniels takes the stand in Trump trial

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels took the witness stand Tuesday in the unprecedented criminal trial of former President Donald Trump in the case, N.Y. v. Trump.

Trump is alleged to have given Daniels a $130,000 payment through his former lawyer Michael Cohen ahead of the 2016 election to quiet her story of an alleged affair with Trump in the early 2000s. Trump has denied the affair.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump's defense attorneys objected to prosecutors' plans to go through the "full details" of the alleged sex act between Daniels and Trump during the New York criminal trial.

Trump's team argued there is no need for the details, and they further argue that there is an issue with her credibility since Daniels has signed papers saying the sex act didn't happen. Prosecutors clarified that they would "not go into details of genitalia."

Judge Juan Merchan sided with prosecutors, saying they could ask Daniels for the details they outlined.

Is Marjorie 'Judas' Greene Betraying Donald Trump?
By Brian C. Joondeph

Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus’s 12 Apostles.

In the Garden of Gethsemane the night before Jesus's crucifixion, Judas betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin who eventually arrested Jesus.

Jesus predicted this betrayal during the Last Supper. In exchange for his treachery, Judas received thirty pieces of silver. Could he have also been threatened? Who knows? The Bible says nothing about that.

Modern day betrayals, particularly of leaders, occur via carrot or stick, reward or kompromat.

For Judas, the price was a pocket of silver coins. For members of Congress, the price may be a do-nothing board seat, a cable news gig, or stock options worth millions.

The stick may be revelations about personal indiscretions, financial, sexual, or otherwise. The same intelligence and law enforcement agencies that spied on candidate and President Donald Trump are almost certainly spying on elected officials, enlisting their support to avoid embarrassment to themselves and their families, or even legal consequences.

Power Grab: Biden Admin Tries to Control National Guard, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Claps Back
Bob Hoge

In yet another power grab by the Biden Administration, the Defense Department in March asked Congress to override an existing law that requires governors to approve changes to National Guard units. The proposal would allow the Defense Department to have unilateral power to transfer units to the Space Force because perhaps they’re preparing for an alien invasion or something.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R), long a thorn in the side of Biden on the illegal immigration issue because the president refuses to protect our borders while the Republican governor takes the border invasion seriously, is fighting back and pointed out in a letter to the White House that the move would shatter long-time precedent.

“Although the Texas Air National Guard does not have these types of missions, I strongly oppose any attempt to sideline governors when it comes to their respective National Guards,” Abbott wrote in his letter, dated May 3. "Congress has long required the consent of a governor before units can be transferred out of the National Guard he commands.”

Abbott argued that the proposal would set a dangerous precedent and was nothing more than a “power grab.”

“By departing from this sensible arrangement and allowing the Secretaries to dismantle National Guard units on a whim, Legislative Proposal 480 would set a dangerous precedent. Members of the Texas National Guard must always stand ready to respond to natural disasters, civil disturbances, and cartel activity that threaten our way of life,” Abbott continued.

How fortunate for illegal "newcomers" there is such a fine sanctuary city for them to murder, rape, steal, and assault people in.  It must feel like home.

NYC voted for this. So I don’t want to hear their complaining
