Does Trump think she could have brought a RICO case in February 2021? I know he's just trying to give his fans a talking point, but they are going to look pretty foolish.

The Georgia indictment says that advocating for robust signature verification is a conspiratorial criminal act.
Act 6.
On or about the 21st day of November 2020, MARK RANDALL MEADOWS sent a text message to United States Representative Scott Perry from Pennsylvania and stated, "Can you send me the number for the speaker and the leader of PA Legislature. POTUS wants to chat with them." This was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy
As a reminder, Brian Kemp does not have the power to pardon Trump or any of the other defendants. Donald had better send his A-Team to Georgia, and not Tom Fitton or Alina Hubba Hubba.

Here we go again: another disastrous Trump indictment. It’s downright pathetic that Fulton County publicly posted the indictment on its website even before the grand jury had finished convening.
Since the four prosecutions against Trump are using novel & untested legal theories, it’s fair game for him to do the same in defense: immediately file a motion to dismiss for a constitutional due process violation for publicly issuing an indictment before the grand jury had actually signed one. He should make a strong argument on these grounds & it would send a powerful message to the ever-expansive prosecutorial police state.
As someone who’s running for President against Trump, I’d volunteer to write the amicus brief to the court myself: prosecutors should not be deciding U.S. presidential elections, and if they’re so overzealous that they commit constitutional violations, then the cases should be thrown out & they should be held accountable.

America's enemies are celebrating, our allies are appalled. The Democrat Party and its media are thrilled, the Republican Party is on its last legs.
Read the post again, it's not my quote, dear. Pace yourself.

Pace myself? You are on a posting frenzy since you want to get ahead of the curb on spinning the latest crazy mostly self-inflicted Trump news and tell me to "pace myself".... Every day, week by week, month by month, year after year 76 thousand + posts and I need to "pace myself"

Wrong! you impotent, hate filled loser. I am neither old nor a bitch.
I will, however, confess to condescension-- on occasion. It's just SO damn easy.
@Wingnut
I take exception to that statement. There's really no way of knowing how old she is.@DCPatriot knows but won't tell.
Someone said you were hanging on to 60....by your finger nails and for dear life.
There is no such offense. The section cited: O.C.G.A. §§ 16-4-8 & 16-9-1(b) (http://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2020/title-16/chapter-9/article-1/section-16-9-1/)
There is no 'conspiracy' mentioned. Section b:A person commits the offense of forgery in the first degree when with the intent to defraud he or she knowingly makes, alters, or possesses any writing, other than a check, in a fictitious name or in such manner that the writing as made or altered purports to have been made by another person, at another time, with different provisions, or by authority of one who did not give such authority and utters or delivers such writing.
There is no connection between this statute and anything Trump did. However, this is EXACTLY what Fulton County election workers did in the dead of night with no GOP election observers present.
@DCPatriot knows but won't tell.

There is a general conspiracy statute, Ga. Code Ann. §16-4-8, that makes it illegal to conspire to commit a crime. "Crime" for these purposes is defined in Ga. Code Ann. §16-2-1.

Mitchell on Fani Willis: ‘Strong Black Woman Standing Up to Donald Trump Is Something to Behold’
Fulton County clerk admits to accidentally posting ‘sample’ document in Trump case
by Rebecca Beitsch - 08/15/23 4:08 PM ET
The office of the clerk for the Fulton County, Ga., court system admitted to accidentally posting a “sample working document” related to former President Trump’s indictment hours before the grand jury completed its work.
The Tuesday statement came after the office blamed media outlets Monday for sharing what it called a “fictitious document.”
What does her skin color have to do with anything? Does Mitchell find it remarkable that a black woman is capable of exhibiting the strength of a normal woman?
Liberals are such racists.
Meadows trying to move Fulton County case to federal court
Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is seeking to move the Fulton County, Georgia, prosecution against him to federal court so that he can try to get the case dismissed under federal law, according to court filings.
In a new court filing submitted in the US District Court of the Northern District of Georgia, Meadows argued that he is entitled to bring a federal immunity defense because the Georgia state charges against him stem from his conduct as then-President Donald Trump’s chief of staff.
Meadows is one of 19 defendants, including Trump, who were charged on Monday in Fulton County in the Georgia 2020 election subversion case.
He said he intends to submit at a “later date” a more comprehensive request laying out why the case against him should be dismissed under federal law. But in the meantime, Meadows argued that the federal court should move the charges out of state court, and into federal court, effectively halting the state-level proceedings against him.
“Even if the Court is not prepared to dismiss outright at this early stage, however, justice requires granting removal and halting any further state-court proceedings against Mr. Meadows,” the filing said. “That will allow for the timely consideration of Mr. Meadows’s defenses, including his federal defense under the Supremacy Clause, without requiring him to defend himself in state court simultaneously.” .............

Trump really needs to stop using the word 'fraud'. Seriously. He should instead focus on the illegality of the election which is certainly provable in multiple states including Georgia. Trump is his own worst enemy. He could win a ground-breaking case in Georgia if he approached it as someone interested in cleaning up elections instead of one seeking some judge to declare him the winner.

The 12 tweets that could help convict Trump in Georgia election-tamper case
By Ryan King
August 15, 2023 5:19pm
Donald Trump’s old tweets are coming back to haunt him.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis highlighted a dozen of the former president’s posts on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, in her sweeping 2020 election racketeering case against him.
The tweets indicate that Trump believed the election to be fraudulent. This works in his favor against Fulton County.Trump can be convicted for being an idiot with very poor judgement, but he's no criminal.
It is also quite revealing that the Fulton County Assistant DA is already trying this case in the court of public opinion before a trial date has even been set.
Late 30s. That's as specific as I'm going to get. I know that I'm the youngest active member on this board and lately it's showing.

Yeah, I've failed at all those things, and it's an extremely sore point. For the dignity of the other members who've heard my story before, I'm not going to hash through it again.
At 38, I married the most wonderful woman on the entire planet. You haven't failed. G-d is still working on you both.Maybe. But I'll say it's a challenge.
