On Wednesday, the California Attorney General's Office filed 11 felony charges against a top adviser to George Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon.

Assistant District Attorney Diana Teran, who faces the felony counts, oversees high-profile sensitive cases including police misconduct, public corruption, and fraud.

She has been charged with 11 felony counts of illegal use of confidential police records, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Teran has been accused by Democrat AG Rob Bonta of improperly downloading confidential records of police officers while she was working for the LA County Sheriff's Department in 2018.

Bonta said that Teran "impermissibly used that data" after being hired to work for Gascon's office three years later, according to the AG's press release.

Some students in the march are wearing T-shirts that say, “Student Workers of Columbia UAW Local 2710."

A student confirmed a few of those workers walked out in support of the encampment earlier today.

It's a perfect story to feed MAGA bloodlust.  In MAGA world, it's cruelty that matters.

Just ask Stephen Miller - architect of Children In Cages and Project 2025.  Separating children from parents is a sin from God, but, in MAGA world it's a measure of loyalty and dedication.

Hunter Biden’s legal team reportedly sent a letter threatening to sue Fox News “imminently” over the alleged “unlicensed commercial exploitation” of the president’s son.

The April 23 letter is signed by Tina Glandian, a partner at the Geragos and Geragos law firm working on the case, according to NBC News. The firm gave Fox News until April 26 to respond, though the network has reportedly not responded.

The younger Biden’s legal team has reportedly been planning to sue Fox for over a year, according to NBC News. Geragos said the network “relentlessly attacked” his client for good ratings and “financial gain.”

“For the last five years, Fox News has relentlessly attacked Hunter Biden and made him a caricature in order to boost ratings and for its financial gain,” Geragos said in a statement. “The recent indictment of FBI informant Smirnov has exposed the conspiracy of disinformation that has been fueled by Fox, enabled by their paid agents and monetized by the Fox enterprise. We plan on holding them accountable.”

Mark Geragos, an attorney for the younger Biden, warned Fox Corporation and Fox News Digital of their preparation to seek damages over the network’s alleged “conspiracy and subsequent actions to defame [Hunter] Biden and paint him in a false light, the unlicensed commercial exploitation of his image, name, and likeness, and the unlawful publication of hacked intimate images of him,” according to NBC News. No lawsuit has currently been filed.

As polls slip, Biden seeks media help

AS POLLS SLIP, BIDEN SEEKS MEDIA HELP. Sunday brought more bad news for President Joe Biden in the form of a new CNN poll showing former President Donald Trump leading Biden by 6 points, 49% to 43%, in a head-to-head national matchup, and by 9 points, 42% to 33%, in a race that includes Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and some minor left-wing candidates. A worrisome detail in the poll was that it was taken from April 18 to April 23, when Trump’s trial in New York was underway and the subject of intense media coverage. Voters knew Trump was facing felony charges, they heard about the case against him every day, and more still preferred Trump to Biden.

Perhaps it is not surprising, then, that even as he was receiving the latest negative polling, Biden was asking the press to go tougher on Trump. Trump supporters might roll their eyes at that — how could the press be any tougher on Trump than they already are? — but Biden took two high-profile opportunities to tell journalists that they should go even harder on the former president.

The first was Biden’s hourlong interview on Friday with SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern. It’s easy to see why Biden chose Stern. At 70, Stern is far past his shock-jock days and can deliver a special brand of fawning in a friendly interview. His discussion with Biden was a very, very friendly interview.

Maybe in the past, under better leadership.  The IDF mistakenly killed two Israeli hostages who had escaped from Hamas - they were unarmed, with raised hands.  That leads to big questions about training and leadership.

So, with the right training and leadership, the IDF could identify, target and kill militants and avoid civilians?

Biden is making the same mistake Bush '41 made in 1992 - being dismissive of economic concerns of working Americans.

They trust prices at the supermarket more than they trust pretty charts and economists.

Exactly.
