"Meteorologist predicts global warming will be dead by 2030 – and reduced CO2 will hurt the planet"

By then, enormous damage to both the environment and humanity will have been done -- perhaps some of it all-but irreversible.

Global Warming/Climate Change -- the greatest and most destructive hoax in the entire history of man.

*****rollingeyes***** Missionaries are not stupid. They know what they are doing is risky. Their choice is carefully considered and usually they go through preparation of significant duration. They understand the risks they are assuming, but do what they do for a higher purpose.

*****rollingeyes***** The parents of the young man have operated Missions in Haiti, Inc. for his entire life, plus or minus a year or two. His parents and he himself understand conditions in Haiti very well, and he may even have grown up there, in part or entirely.

*****rollingeyes***** The young lady's father, Missouri State Representative Ben Baker, is a graduate of Ozark Bible Institute and was Dean of Students there, so he and his family also would at least understand the risks in missions work (if not conditions in Haiti specifically).

Don't call stupid people you seem not to understand.

The proper response for the agents in this situation would be to unholster arms, take aim, and...
That would be more than appropriate.

One of the illegals from Jordan who allegedly tried to infiltrate Quantico was on the terror watch-list... the other was *brought in to attend a US college,* then illegally overstayed his visa, while coordinating with the possible terrorist.

Illegal Who Tried To Infiltrate Quantico Was Let Into Country To Attend U.S. College

May 23, 2024   DailyWire.com

One of two men from the country of Jordan who allegedly tried to infiltrate the Quantico Marine Corps base was initially allowed into the country on a student visa, according to a Fox News report.

The other man had recently crossed into the country through the southern border illegally despite reportedly being on the terrorist watch-list. The first man was also in the country illegally after overstaying his student visa, Fox News reported, citing Department of Homeland Security sources.

The attempted infiltration of Quantico allegedly occurred in May 3, but was concealed from the public until local news outlet Potomac Local uncovered it last week. The Marine Corps then acknowledged that the men–who posed as Amazon delivery drivers and then allegedly defied instructions to stop and drove onto the base anyway–were in the country illegally, but refused to confirm whether one was on the terrorist watchlist. ...

Princeton Professor Gets SMACKED DOWN by Facts After Claiming Homeschooling Is 'Educational Neglect'

Every once in a while, the Left gets a bug up their collective butt about homeschooling. Since increasing in popularity following COVID lockdowns and virtual learning, they're very concerned some children aren't in their grips, learning about 52 genders and critical race theory.

So when Princeton Sociology professor Jen Jennings opined about the 'educational neglect' that absolutely has to be happening in homeschooling, she got bit by reality. Hard.

What follows what I quoted is mostly posts from X calling out how horribly public schools are doing and "suggesting" the Professor Jen Jennings fix public schools before demanding that homeschoolers be scrutinized.

My wife and I homeschooled our 3 kids "K-12". Their first classroom experience was at our local JC. So ... how'd that work out? In order to bypass disputes over the validity of our homeschool high school diploma, we had each of our kids take - and pass - the California High School Proficiency Exam. In California, by law, the CHSPE certificate is the equivalent of a high school diploma. Our son earned Eagle rank in Scouts. Among them, each has earned an AA degree (the one who speaks fluent Mandarin had to take Spanish to satisfy the language requirement for the AA, because none of the JCs in our area or CSU San Jose have classes in Mandarin). One went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Business. One went on to earn the equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Chinese Language and Culture ... at a university in China ... in Mandarin ... including a thesis written and presented in Mandarin. Among them they have travelled to Fiji, Canada, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Finland, Hong Kong, Egypt, and South Sudan (that I can remember). Our kids are not prodigies ... they may not even be above average among homeschooled adults.

Elections 2024 / Re: THE BRONX IS SHOWING OUT FOR TRUMP

This was one of the best two or three rallies that Trump has conducted.  Controlled, focused, but still biting enough to fire up the crowd.

If he can maintain this demeanor for the rest of the way....  He wins.  (Disclaimer: dims don't change candidates)

Agreed. This was one of his best rallies.  Only problem is with the DEMS dragging him in and out of court, the time he gets to spend on rallies is very limited.

By all indications he should win though I also agree that the DEMS will be running someone other than Joe.  Also, they're all set to steal another election if need be.

Prayers up also for the safety of Trump and his family The fact that the FBI was allowed to use deadly force while raiding Mar a Lago is deeply concerning.

Lindsey Graham tells UN International Court of Justice to 'go to hell' over ruling against Israel

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the United Nations’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) "can go to hell" after the body ordered Israel to halt its military operations in southern Gaza.

"As far as I’m concerned, the ICJ can go to hell," he wrote Friday on X. "It is long past time to stand up to these so-called international justice organizations associated with the UN."

"The ICJ’s ruling that Israel should stop operations that are necessary to destroy four battalions of Hamas killers and terrorists – who use Palestinians as human shields – is ridiculous," he added. "This will and should be ignored by Israel."................

................On Friday, Graham said he was in talks with Senate and House members of both parties to potentially sanction the ICC for the warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant.
