If you can see this clearly then you can see that I have a problem!? :chairbang:
Restarting the computer (As it claims is needed) accomplishes absolutely nothing!
I learned my lesson after the 8th or 9th 'restart!' :shrug:
Should I delete all of these 'updates' and start anew?
(Will that help?)
Thanks

It will not help. Your only option is to throw the computer away and take up gardening. Trust me. I know computers. I was lead designer for the 1981 version of the Tandy TRS80. The creamy silver case was my idea.

I just stopped updating Windows 10. Problem was solved.

My advice: don't ever take computer advice from Frank or Wings.

How dare you. I'll have you know that I invented DOS and what is now called a Mouse. Back then the project name for it was Hockey Puck Thingy With Buttons To Move The Arrow Thingy Around The Cathode Ray Tube Device. The damn suits in advertising said it wasn't a descriptive enough name and went with Mouse.

And, we appreciate your contribution to the field of computer science.

One of these days when I am drunk I'll tell you the story about how I invented the Circle of Death when I was working at Apple....

I don't think that any of those suggestions are gonna work! :shrug:

Have you tried lodging at a Holiday Inn Express? I've heard of miracles occurring after a stay at one of those establishments.

@mrclose
Sometimes the only thing that will fix Win10 PCs with update issues is doing a Windows Reset. I've had to do it on a couple of machines. You can do the option that saves your data but you'll have to reinstall all of your programs after. So far that has been successful in the one's I've seen. I've only seen this on PCs that were upgraded to Win10 from another version.

No. It will just try to reload the updates again...
If you haven't tried it yet, try a full nuke and pave. On install, have latest update chipset from the cpu manufacturer, and from the video manufacturer locally available and install them immediately, before any MS updates occur.
If no joy, take it to a reliable computer tech who can determine the problem. :shrug:
