Bidenite lies, statistics, and reality
By Jack Hellner

Most of the media, Joe Biden, his administration, and other Democrats seem to live in an alternate reality.

We are constantly told that Biden inherited an economic disaster and his great economic policies have turned the economy around—the reality is that he inherited a rapidly growing economy with inflation below two percent, and his policies have decimated the purchasing power of most Americans, resulting in an economic disaster. A huge percentage of Americans are digging into savings, running up credit card debt, and falling behind on their loans, just to pay ordinary bills. Few young people can afford to buy a house in today’s market.

We are told that Biden’s policies have brought inflation under control—the reality suggests that is not true. There is no way that inflation for the poor and middle classes, for necessities like food, energy, utilities, housing, repairs, and insurance is down to around 3% like the regime claims.

We are told that inflation since Biden has been elected is around 20%, but that seems low with food up over 35%, and energy prices, which affect everything, up over 59%. Crude oil is up around 100%, and it is used in over 6,000 products.

The Biden administration announced on Friday morning that it is expanding health-care access for a select group of illegal immigrants brought to the country as children.

Illegal immigrants enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will be granted access to health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, according to the White House. DACA members, sometimes referred to as “Dreamers,” will be able to apply for healthcare coverage on healthcare.gov and state level insurance marketplaces beginning in November.

“I’m proud of the contributions of Dreamers to our country and committed to providing Dreamers the support they need to succeed,” President Joe Biden said in a prepared statement. “And that’s why today we are taking this historic step to ensure that DACA recipients have the same access to health care through the Affordable Care Act as their neighbors.”

Biden was vice president when then-president Barack Obama created DACA through executive order over a decade ago. The program gives deportation protections and work visas to illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children. An estimated 580,000 people are enrolled in the program. Former president Donald Trump failed to put an end to DACA during his term and the program continues to be fought in court.

Freaky Friday friendly thanks, Pookie! Enjoy your weekend in Paris, Moscow, Brussels... or some other American city with that name! ;D (yes, they all exist)

Ugh. Seems we have an announcement from our pretend-President:

EDIT: Just think, Pookie! If someone inserted the above words into FJB's TelePrompTer, he would say it! ;D

My pleasure & thanks, Scott! (only after he said pause, of course)

Air Force Arms Classic B-52 With Nuclear-Capable Long-Range Standoff Cruise Missile

The US Air Force is arming its classic B-52 bomber with the cutting-edge, paradigm changing, nuclear capable Long-Range-Standoff (LRSO) weapon cruise missile

The US Air Force is arming its classic B-52 bomber with the cutting-edge, paradigm changing, nuclear capable Long-Range-Standoff (LRSO) weapon cruise missile.

The service is seeking industry partners to “integrate” the LRSO onto the platform, something which will invariably introduce new concepts of operation for the B-52. The idea with the weapon is of course to afford commanders an opportunity to destroy enemy targets at much longer “stand-off” ranges to avoid advanced air defenses and prevent manned aircraft from being at risk. In the event that advanced enemy air defenses or other combat developments prevent stealth bombers and fighters from operating in a “stand-in” capability in closer proximity to an enemy, the LRSO can offer new air-attack options.

LRSO controversy

The LRSO is also nuclear capable, a factor which has been the subject of considerable debate. The primary concern, as articulated by members of Congress, is that the introduction of such a weapon might “lower-the-threshold” to nuclear war, making it more likely. Yet another concern is that as a “dual-capable” conventional and nuclear weapon, there is a potential risk that an adversary might mistake a conventional LRSO attack for a nuclear strike and respond with nuclear weapons. Proponents, such Pentagon, Air Force and industry weapons developers, supported by a majority of lawmakers, is that commanders need a wide range of options with which to ensure and strengthen strategic deterrence, meaning that the presence of the LRSO is much more likely to “prevent” a nuclear exchange. This view has prevailed thus far, given that the Air Force’s 2024 budget requested funds for the purchase of as many as 1,000 LRSO weapons.

Forensic analyst returns to witness stand
By Kyle Schnitzer

Jurors were brought into the courtroom as Douglas Daus, a forensic analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, returns to the witness stand to continue cross-examination by Donald Trump attorney Emil Bove.

Judge Juan Merchan took the bench and greeted former President Trump and his legal team on Friday morning as day 11 of Trump's criminal trial began.

Before witness testimony resumed, Merchan said he wanted to clarify any misunderstanding of his gag order on Trump, who moments ago complained that his constitutional rights were under attack because he is not permitted to respond to witnesses who are testifying against him.

"You have an absolute right to testify at trial," Merchan told Trump. "That is a constitutional right that cannot be infringe upon."

"The order restricting extrajudicial statements does not prohibit you from testifying in any way," the judge continued. He clarified the gag order does not apply to statements made on the witness stand and instructed Trump to inform his attorneys if he has any questions."

Earlier, Trump said his lawyers will appeal the gag order today. The former president was fined $9,000 this week for violating the order on nine separate occasions.
