WEF Founder Klaus Schwab Stepping Down As Executive Chairman

ZeroHedge

'You'll own nothing in retirement and be happy'...

Wit the organization he founded 50 years ago bringing in nearly $500 million in revenue in the year ending March 2023 (and sitting on a neat pile of 200 million Swiss francs cash), Klaus Schwab will own some things as he reportedly steps back from his role running the World Economic Forum has has headed since 1971.

Semafor reports that Schwab announced his intentions to step down as executive chairman in an email to staff on Tuesday that was shared with Semafor by a person connected to the organization.

The change in his role is pending approval by the Swiss government but should be finalized ahead of the WEF’s annual meeting in 2025.

Schwab, now 86, will be transitioning to a role as non-executive chairman ...

Next career: fashion design

Whether one believes Trump was robbed or not, there’s no denying that the 2020 election was a mess and things were allowed to happen that should not have been allowed

The mass mail in voting for one. Ballot  boxes all over the place inviting mischief is another. And another is what the Pennsylvania Supreme Court did, and that is near the election,  change the dates that were agreed upon by the legislature the deadline date for mail in ballots

And I won’t leave out the Zuckerberg Ballot harvesting

And what dumb idea is it that you shouldn’t have to have a verifiable address or an ID when voting?

A lot of this should’ve been challenged by the Trump campaign before the election, but they didn’t. And Trump discouraging people from voting early, didn’t help him, either. Mail in ballots and early voting heavily favored Biden as a result

Covid was used as an excuse for every dumb idea regarding the economy, spending, and elections

These are examples of the incompetence of the Trump administration

I agree with everything you said, buy why dredge up things from 2020 now? We need to win in 2024.

This reminds me of a debate I had with a liberal over the green new deal. He insisted that there is no way that it would pass into law  so why would I worry about it?

Germany 1928, no way that shouty mustache guy will win so why worry about what he says?

SpaceX fuels up Starship megarocket ahead of 4th test flight (photos)

The "wet dress rehearsal" apparently went well.

SpaceX just fueled up its giant Starship rocket, checking another box ahead of the vehicle's fourth test flight.

The company performed a "wet dress rehearsal" with Starship at its Starbase site in South Texas today (May 20), filling both of the vehicle's stages with supercold liquid oxygen and liquid methane in a key prelaunch test.

"Launch rehearsal for Flight 4 complete," SpaceX said in a post on X today, which also shared four photos of the procedure.

Biden at Odds with Hollywood Fundraisers George and Amal Clooney over ICC Warrant of Arrest for Israeli Leaders

George Clooney, and his wife, Amal Clooney are seemingly at odds with President Joe Biden after the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) revealed he was seeking arrest warrants for Israeli leaders and Hamas terrorist leaders.

My suspicion is they did have them on some kind of drug for the SOTU speech

But if someone claims to have evidence of such, then the burden is on them  to bring that evidence forward

Just because there won't be an overt ban doesn't mean those who hold those views won't push regulatory and tax policy in that direction.  So even if it doesn't accomplish that specific goal, it can still cause economic damage and reduce the ability of ordinary people to afford/use their cars.

That's how the left does it.  The activists push hard for something extreme and bitch when they only get half.  And in the meantime, our lives have been degraded by their actions.   Even if Xeno's paradox says we never quite get there, the damage and impact can still be massive, especially when you look at the aggregate impact across a broad swathe of issues.

I told him it may not pass into law, but that doesn’t mean that aspects of it couldn’t be maneuvered into regulations by government agencies

No one is going to take away your car or stop you from driving on weekends or any other time. It would destroy our economy for starters. Even the German greenies said it was a stupid idea.

That AT did not mention the greenies and politicians said it was stupid and would never happen tell you all you need to know about AT.

RW Misinformation and scaremongery at it's  finest.
