Dan Quayle spelling potato wrong (not technically), George W. Bush mispronouncing nuclear and Sarah Palin saying that on a clear day you could see Russia from Alaska (technically true)… the media had a field day with all of these missteps, but they’ve mostly left the gaffe-tastic Joe Biden alone. Which is amazing, considering the many horrible mistakes he’s made – and now there’s a new one…

There’s no reason the nation of Africa cannot and should not join the ranks of the world’s most prosperous nations in the near term, in the decades ahead. There is simply no reason.

Biden's latest example idiocy aside, there are reasons that most of the African continent can't join developed nations on other continents anytime soon. The primary reason being, of course, Islamic rule and the real genocide that is occurring in multiple nations on that continent.
I know Biden was just there to offer "hope" and not real solutions, but the naivete of his words is an absolute embarrassment to me as an American. I bet the educated at that conference were wondering what planet the babbling fool speaking to them was from.
